More power in the shower would have been welcome.

Spa facilities were very relaxing, the evening meals were excellent, the staff were very friendly, the view was lovely, excellent tea making facilities in the room, and it was quiet.

It was much further from Dorchester than I expected. My fault I guess as I used Booking.com and did a search for Dorchester and this hotel came up. I wanted to go out in the evening to explore the town but it was soooo far away!

Clean, comfortable and large room. The bathroom was large too. We stayed one night. We didnt have breakfast so cant comment on that. It was a really good stay. Just a bit further away from the seaside which was what we were visiting.

People of a certain age and ability find it difficult to use the shower, as shower gel and shampoo containers had to be placed on the shower tray.

The hotel was clean, tidy and well appointed. Breakfast was well catered for, plenty of choice.

Staff were very helpful. Firstly, to reset card entry for room access. Secondly, to provide another duvet cover as one of ours had a stain.

The only downside was no outside area.

The room was a good size with a lovely bathroom. The bed was huge and really comfortable. Quite often, there's only one chair in a hotel room, so it was pleasing to see two. The beverage tray had a really good choice. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, but my favourite was the granola the chef made. It was out of this world.

Outside car park could be a pleasant area but unfortunately it has been left out when any improvements are made, could be a nicer look when arriving

Our 2nd time at George Albert, Very clean, staff are brilliant nothing is too much trouble for them. Ate in the restaurant Saturday night and the food was fabulous

Very friendly staff - especially the gentleman in the restaurant. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Dinner was excellent - better than expected to be honest.

The building itself looked a dump on the outside - streaked concrete and badly kept window frames. Plus an open building site piece of land for a car park. What a shame. It would take very little to paint the building, add flower beds and create a proper car park. That would better match the lovely inside. Hardly any staff smiled or said please and thank you. One lady at breakfast completely ignored us upon entry. Seemed very poor customer training for staff.
