The room was tiny, and not reflected in the description on how small the room was. The tiny room didn't have a window nor a suitable fan or aircon, there was little to no air ventilation. The bathroom was dirty and dust everywhere and mole growing on the shower curtain along with grit on the grout of the tiles.

Tiny room, would have preferred a smaller bed for the size of the room. Poor lighting. Tired decor throughout. No window in whole property. Did not see host at flat. Would have liked tea/coffee available in kitchen area. All 3 parts of bedding were mismatched. Name of property does not reflect. There was no warm welcome which I was expecting

15 sq.m. is a LIE. The room has a bed inside and some tiny space to walk in. MAX 4 sq.m.. and THERE IS NO WINDOW. The room was filthy and we went to sleep in a filthy bed. Around 11 p.m. the (nice) landlord arrived and explained "the cleaning lady had an accident". The room was extremely hot - again the answer was "it was one of the hottest days in Londons history" altough it was 20 degrees. No airconditioning, however - "we could open the door" (?!). Got a small propeller to survive. I travel a lot and use Booking as well. I am just asking how we as users are protected against the kind of fraud we have experienced. Since the room was paid for and I had no power to get into a fight with Booking.com, we barely caught some sleep for the 3 days we stayed. Unless you don't need to, don't go there.

I advise no one to come here, honestly. It's dirty, there's no window, it's a closet, and the host attacked me. I had to leave as quickly as possible, and she didn't want to refund me. She hit me because I said the room was dirty.

Room was TINY and holy sh*t it was hot. It felt like I was sleeping in a boiler room, cooler fan did nothing, as it blew little to no air… room temp would be good if it was snowing outside. Shower was alright, but looked a bit dirty, still worked well tho.

Owner seems to have exaggerated the qualities of the apartment to a point we felt it was a bit deceived. A few issues: - the description doesn’t make it clear that it is one room among 3 with a single shared bath for up to 6 people; - we had a 2am wake-up level noise by occupants both nights (eg used microwave at 2 am); - no vents or window in room (tiny outbound exhaust so stuffy that we argued about leaving the door open, a safety issue), such that I didn’t sleep the entire second night; dirty bathtub (bath ring) and kitchen food on floor and unwashed dishes in sink; - the owner made a big deal that we couldn’t check in until 3pm for cleaning (but nothing seemed clean, and this was a huge inconvenience as the promised bag storage wasn’t open when we arrived (so we had to sit 2 hours) and then the bag storage cost 3x what they claimed it would. On the plus side, good instructions, converters, working fixtures, seems secure and safe. The little thing like that add up to someone exaggerating the truth to get bookings.

Very VERY dirty everywhere - we could write on the dust on the shelves! Bathroom and kitchen looked like they haven't been cleaned in ages. Cramped - very little space beside the bed in the room. No window in the room made it stuffy.

Very well equipped with everything you could possibly need - even a steamer and adapters:) We also appreciated the detailed email with instructions how to get to the apartment and what we can expect.

Transparency of what the room is actually like.

The location was great as was the price but the description of 'gorgeous flat C' is misleading. It should read 'budget room in fantastic central location. I have read the reviews since staying and the owners don't accept criticism well which shows that they are not business people which is disappointing. The size of the room was VERY claustrophobic but the main issue was that there was no window and no way of getting fresh air into the extremely small room. There is an extraction fan (which doesnt draw fresh air in, only extracts obviously) and an extremely small plug in air cooler. Neither of these provide fresh oxygen. It was extremely uncomfortable because of this.

It's definitely the best you can get for such price in central London. Location is perfect, literally across the street from the Liverpool Street Station. The bedroom is small but cozy, bed is very comfortable. The apartment itself is nice and clean. The owner was friendly and hospitable. Would stay again.

I was able to get a good night's sleep and walk around London and this place served its purpose. I found a neat farmers market, had a beer at a pub, and walked in a neighborhood park.

I loved the location. Direct transportation from both airports and a very lively and neat area where you can get a good understanding of life in London. It is also a very good value for the money. I stayed near Paddleton station before for the same amount of money and it was much worse. People need to remember that London is expensive and this is a budget stay. The alternative is a hostel with 10 other people. The flat is split in several rooms that are rented out separately. It is clean and has a huge TV. No window. The bathroom and kitchen are outside in the hall.
