Not much around location wise. i would pop to the shop before you arrive at the hotel. A little bit noisy in the morning but than these two things is perfect.

Loved the modern rooms, the pool and the staff. Breakfast was lovely and so was dinner in the bar. Amazing value for money - will be back.

I feel a more extensive range of meals on the lounge menu. Maybe extend the cut off time for soup and sandwiches. Bathroom was just a little too small but adequate.

Breakfast was well presented and cooked well with a good selection of hot and cold items. Our room was very clean and spacious, it was tastefully decorated. Decor in the whole Hotel was pleasing to the eye and it had a relaxing feeling throughout. Very clean in all areas. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble to ask for.

Our newly refurbished bathroom had several issues. The towel rail had an electrical fault (which was fixed quickly), the shower and bath ran very slowly due to low water pressure and the sink was comically small!

The friendly manager and staff really made us feel welcome and special during our stay. It was lovely to connect with other guests about their musical interests around the piano in the evening. The recent refurbishment is a great success - the hotel retains its period character whilst feeling modern and fresh. We particularly liked the spacious bedroom, wide corridors and open public spaces. The food and service in the restaurant were very good and reasonably priced. The hotel is in a quiet, private location but within easy walking distance of the train station, beach promenade, shops and Victoria Hall (for concerts etc).

The steam room needs some attention. We didn't manage to mention it to the staff. Since there are some renovations going on, hopefully, this will be looked at.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. They moved us to a different room when we requested it for health and safety reasons. We enjoyed some music courtesy of guests who were free to play the piano at the bar and in the lounge where Kam looked after us. The food was amazing!!! Location is ideal to walk into town. It is a lovely place for relaxing.

Will definitely stay again. Only issue The room was far too hot even with fan and window open. This needs addressed or I’m sure will get complaints. The decor and refurbished rooms are beautiful. Id advise swapping the painted skirting in the en-suite for tiles. It gets soaked when in the shower and will quickly rot and need replaced. Did notice a few glasses and bottles around the front lawns in the morning after breakfast. A nice touch would be to have these cleared away before guests arrive for breakfast.

Evening meal was very nice but very very slow service. Over 2 hours for 3 courses. Chicken dish was hardly any chicken so poor value for money. All tasted and presented well.

No real vegetarian options available too expensive and one of the catering staff was a little rude when we asked if we could exit through the restaurant doors as a short cut from the corridor. The breakfast charges for an omelette on top of your paid breakfast which I think isn't fair ( Its £4 per person).

The room was amazing and very clean, I enjoyed having a bath and shower available. The promenade to the man made beach and surrounding areas around the hotel were lovely, the receptionist was so friendly, the kitchen staff and the people serving breakfast were lovely..🙂

Newly refurbished and was a beautiful hotel. It was the staff though that made the stay! Especially Bethany at front desk when we arrived! Really outstanding.
