Was shabby inside. Shower took ages to warm up and not very powerful. Absolutely no heat. I was freezing all night. Breakfast starts at 7am on a work day was not enough time for me to go, as had to leave.

The outer appearance was beautiful. The location beautiful. Parking ample and free. Felt secure. Biscuits and plenty of tea coffee. Breakfast was included.

Propert was reasonably priced, lively building, only reason for 9 star is the location We had to get taxi to Train station But easily done.

The were not lifts and getting to the rooms was a bit of a maze, plus you had to go through a function room, which had wedding preparations. The shower pressure was appalling!! Breakfast had to be pre-booked and if you didn't you could lose out.

This a very unexpected gem of a hotel. The staff was extremely helpful, the facilities, despite being dated and in need of some tlc, we're very comfortable. The building has interesting historical connections, which was an unexpected surprise.

Decor slightly old fashioned and air conditioning unit noisy which meant you couldn’t sleep with it running.

Beautiful house and adjoining rooms nestled in the Harrow Weald countryside. Decent twin room with the surprising benefit of air conditioning. Staff really friendly and food from the bar menu was great.

Annex was a little dated and new carpet or flooring to entrance would be good

The character of the main house, the grounds and the staff were superb. The annex where our rooms were was also very nice.

Quite a bit of door banging late at night & early morning. Room quite warm. Fairly sure roof above our room was leaking as dripping noise particularly loud.

Location just right for purpose of our visit & very easy to access many very nice restaurants. As we only wanted a small breakfast, we didn't accept the hotel offer - too expensive to not eat a full breakfast!!

The house & gardens were gorgeous. It was a perfect retreat in tranquil environment. Quiet location & comfortable bed - lovely to have the doors open onto mini orchard garden.

A standard double feels very small these days. No natural yogurt at breakfast and had to ask for oat milk.
