Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesBecause these apartments are so new this is more feedback than complaints. A full sized bath towel was not provided and I was unaware of this. Make sure there is a bin bag in the toilet bin. I had to message and ask for the wifi, maybe you can have the wifi password in the welcome message or displayed in the room. Also there was what looked like a liquid splash on the wall that needed to be cleaned :)
The staff were so lovely and made me feel really looked after and safe. The wall plugs were great as I didn't have a UK adapter but was able to just plug my cord into the wall which was amazing! The bed was so comfortable and I had such a great sleep and the room was a decent size. I also had accessibility to a washing machine and dryer and there was a full kitchen available to use too.

United KingdomNot necessarily a bad point depending on what you are looking for, but it's all self check in and check out. There are no keys to access the building or rooms, so I had to be called or texted all the codes to get in, which felt rather odd and made me slightly uneasy on how often they changed the codes. Overall, it just felt unfinished and a bit unclean. I booked three rooms for myself and friends and one of the rooms wasn't cleaned when we arrived. There was a takeaway bag with a mouldy banana in there and the bed was unmade. I called Sam about this and he got a cleaner round to sort it out, which they did. There were also some small stains on the bed covers. There were no bulbs in the side lamps and no general bins in the rooms, apart from a small metal one in the bathroom. Each room only had two towels, which wasn't great for two of my friends who shared a room, but they luckily bought their own towels. There was no bath mat either, so you'd probably have to use one of the towels for that. The kitchen was nice enough, but we ended up getting our own bin liners to change the only bin in the kitchen as there were none anywhere and the bin was quickly filling up. There were enough plates, cups and some cutlery, but only one fork. The tea towel that was there didn't look clean, so we had to use another clean towel to dry any of our washing up. The pub underneath is currently being renovated, so there was some banging and drilling noises, which may put some people off, but it's understandable. I understand it may not be practical, but not having a front desk of sorts made the whole check in/out process lack that personal touch and made sorting out our issues more awkward. When I booked, it was £150 a night per room, which isn't great considering a Travelodge or other hotel is about the same or a bit more, but at least you know what you're getting with those kinds of hotel chains.
The location was good for what we needed, as it was a short walk to the event we were going to and close to the tube station. I'm only rating this higher than what most would due to how convenient and close it was to the event. The bathroom looked newly installed, with a nice toilet, sink and shower. A TV in each room was a nice addition. The bed was also surprisingly comfortable and the room had remote controlled blackout blinds. The host, Sam, was pleasant and helpful with some of the issues. There's a shared kitchen/dining area which had a kettle, toaster and nice fridge, but completely understand some people not liking this at all. The WiFi seemed to be fast and stable.

United KingdomIt could just do with tea making facilities in the room! Although there is a kitchen available •.
The room was so clean and modern. it’s very basic but it’s ideal if you just want a room for the night. The bed was really comfortable and the location of the property is a 12 min walk to the underground. The area was peaceful and I didnt hear any noise from the bar below or any other residents. My room had a private bathroom which was stocked with everything I needed. Sam the owner was very helpful and always available on the phone

United KingdomWe have no complaints whatsoever so ever.
Very clean. Loved the full kitchen so if your on a budget was easy to shop and cook meals. Just round the corner from the main road bus stop too. Staff were amazing and always at the end of the phone or downstairs in the great little bar to help. Bar offered 2-4-1 cocktails from 12-7 during the week and 12-5 at the wknds. And they are very nice. Owner of the property is a great guy who will help where ever he can. Very comfortable room. We stayed as mum was in hospital having major surgery and staff always asked how she was each day. Even the owner. Made us feel very at home. Locals are a great bunch too. It’s a little gem here. Will most definitely be back.

United KingdomVery unsafe property. A member of staff from the bar next door helped us enter the property not the host! The member of staff who helped locked our room door and showed us how to lock this. When we went to re enter our room a few hours later after going out and about in London, our room door was unlocked and door was ajar. I spoke to the host to inform him we were leaving due to this and other issues, including reviews online about drugs, unsafe, many other issues - feel free to have a look at other reviews. I highly recommend you do not stay here. I had a friend with me who was 18 years old and our parents were very worried and concerned about us staying here so we left. Host unhelpful with this and brushed off concerns.

United KingdomThe room was not the same shown in the pictures. The room I booked via booking.com was allocated to someone and hotel staff offered me to take another branch of the hotel. There was not any lift or shuttle between the branches and they took me there with their own car(which was not safe). The location of the second branch is 20mins far. The room was not good and poor quality. Even if I paid around £90, I realized the room price of the second branch that I stayed is £59. This is not good and type if fraud. Hotel staff is not kind and they are too rude. I really do not suggest anybody to book this place!
I liked nothing!

United KingdomOur stay was sadly disrupted by a number of other guests (and probably people not staying too) who stayed up very late into the night (6am…) taking drugs and being loud. There are no staff on sight so it didn’t feel safe or that there was anything we could do. We got very little sleep and will endeavour to look elsewhere in the future.

United KingdomIt wasn’t clean. There was rubble and cigarette butts in the bedside drawer, hairs on the bedding and no bulb in the bedside lamp. The place had clearly recently been finished but not cleaned well. The place had been vacant for a while I think, or cleaned in haste. Not great value for money, even with London prices.
It was close to where I needed to be and low fuss. The coded doors made me feel safe in an otherwise less safe area and the design of the place was interesting.

United KingdomCommunication before arrival would have been welcome from the site host. An information package/email with details of codes to access the building instead of having to chase someone down to let me in. There were no towels and I had to request these to be dropped off late evening. I had to constantly ring to get codes to get in the building and information about how to lock my room door to feel safe. The location is not the best and external appearance is a building site as work is still be undertaken.
The room was clean and so was the bathroom, the shower was reasonable. Sam the host was contactable and did as he said he would but this could have been smoother. Building being renovated to a good standard.

BelgiumIf I had to complain about something, it would be that there was no place to hang anything, not even a jacket. This was a small room, perfect for solo, but two people would be cramped.
Staff was super friendly and very responsive to requests. The room was newly renovated and immaculate. Next to a small park where dogs can go for walks.
