The rooms were a bit tight. I was a bit surprised at how tight the room was but I do know that happens from time to time. There was six in our group and trying to have a drink in the lobby at dinner time was not good. We were given a 20 minute time limit to make room for dinner guests that were coming in with reservations. We decided to go elsewhere. We were very disappointed in the fact that we were guest at the Haar for two nights and apparently there was no room in the lobby for us to have a drink at the end of the day.

Her location was fantastic. The staff was excellent, all of them, but one. The breakfast was very good served by a very positive helpful staff. Room number one had a very good view from the window.

Although the rooms are small the design could be better. Location of tv made for sore necks and the clothes hangar areas either side of the bed are not practical.

Our room was on the top floor, which we liked and the room was nicely appointed. It did get pretty warm though. Not a good situation for those with limited mobility or trouble with stairs.

Close to St Andrew’s Golf Course and beautiful views of the iconic beach make this a great place to stay. Very walkable part of the city. A nice bar and restaurant on the premises and other good spots to eat in the area are bonuses too.

What a charming place to stay for a night or two in St Andrews. Great location, excellent staff who were so helpful and a delicious breakfast. The room is very comfortable with hairdryer and hair straighteners and coffee machine. The bathroom is spacious with lovely products. Would definitely stay again. .

Reported the broken light bulb on the lamp to the member of staff on the Sunday and he said he would look at it but didn’t. This left the bulb exposed and was a bit worried that it was a risk.

The location was perfectly located near the St Andrews golf course and within walking distance to all of the town shopping. The breakfast was included and absolutely amazing! The food was so wonderful. The staff were so great and accommodating in every way. David, our server was so great during breakfast and gave us wonderful tips that were helpful for our trip.

The room was modern, very clean and had everything you could want for an overnight stay. The location was very central and close to the bus station. The breakfast was also very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The internet didn’t work in the bedroom. We live overseas and had 2 children with babysitters so WiFi was pretty important this time.

The rooms, accessed by a number of stairs, would not be suitable for those with mobility issues. I really struggled with the entry system to my room, a system which I believe is new. The staff were happy to help but it did mean going up and down 3 floors! I really didn't like the brown, recycled toilet paper - the only thing that let down the room

Although my room was small and on the top floor, it was nicely appointed, particularly the bathroom. The homemade shortbread was a nice gesture. The bed was unbelievably comfortable! The location is very special, literally a stone's throw from the 18th Green of the Old Course and West Sands and of course in easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and cafes
