    Location, price, friendly staff

Small water tank so not much hot water. Foam mattress.

    Property response:

Thank you for your review the mattress on the kingsize bed is medium memory foam, and the single bed is a specialist foam mattress designed to relieve pressure. We are sorry you didn’t find the price of £89/n good value for money, especially as it’s at the lower end of our price scale nor the facilities were up to scratch - We are self-catering designed for the disabled (adapted features), and dogs who like to be away from everyone and this may not have been to your taste or standards. There is a 15L tank of hot water which refreshes automatically and as part of check in instructions direct to the guests staying in the hut (booked 3rd party) we did give instructions on how to get the best out of this, it is Glamping almost in the sticks, beautiful sticks to add. Hope the breakfast pack was enjoyed, and smart TV and free wifi used to the max. We are glad you had a lovely stay overall, and hope you have a good Christmas.

The location of this hut is simply stunning! It embodies peace, if you’re religious you may say it’s a slice of heaven. The silence is deafening. It is well equipped for those with or without mobility issues. The secure compound is ideal for dogs too. Watch the cows or the sheep grazing and I’ll guarantee, you won’t want to go home! Our second visit here and won’t be our last! The hosts are fabulous!

There’s nothing to dislike, it is based on a working farm so worth bearing that in mind

This property is sat on the hillside right on the top of the mountain. The views were spectacular. It was cosy and everything you need was supplied. As a disabled lady everything was accessible and easy to manage the host thought of everything and couldn’t do enough for me. Lots of places to go for a walk and beautiful surroundings. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom Was exceptional.

There was not one thing negative to say about the property or the hosts

Quiet location. Very peaceful and tranquil. Very helpful host & comfy accommodation. Nice breakfast items and personal touches. Highly recommend.

The shower sadly was very temperamental & personal preference would have like a tv for the evenings but that’s just being probably being picky.

    Property response:

Thank you for your review, we are so pleased you had a lovely stay. We are sorry about the shower, we do say to guests that it’s very sensitive to touch, usually in the middle is generally the best position and need to wait a few moments for the hot to come through and mix with the cold mountain spring water. It should say in the list of facilities that we don’t have a TV. We do have wifi - can be intermittent though, given rural location. Other guests have brought pre-downloaded films etc or just sat and watched the world go by.

Peaceful, stunning views, clean, modern, back to nature, secure for the dog, friendly hosts, comfortable and accommodating. Purely stress relieving.

Nothing major or anything that would taint our stay. If I’m being really picky, it could do with cupboards to store clothes but that really didn’t bother us at all.
