Should have asked for a room closer to the toilet as had to go down and up stairs everytime (79yrs old) and the old knees are not what they were, but not the fault of the hotel. Big crack in the sink still there same as last visit.

Pleasant staff and room was comfortable. Close to railway station and in walking distance of shopping centre.

Shared bathroom wasn't ideal with kids, but there are only 6 rooms and 2 bathrooms so never had trouble finding one available.

Location was ideal, even though the pub had live music on it wasn't loud in our room, could just about make out the cover songs.

Good size room 2 double beds Good to have access to rooms from outside of the pub/restaurant. Clean.. The shared bath was ok. Needs to have a sign to say when occupied and maybe a little more updated. Kettle station was a little unsettling. It tampered with the lights when it was on. Good overall. A chair would be good in the room. Everything else was fine.

Beachfront accommodation, free parking in front of the accommodation unit, which is never lacking. Large parking spaces. Excellent restaurant below the accommodation. Long beaches for walking, the town is small, cozy, a great place to relax and visit the surrounding places.

Just the shared bathroom really, but to be fair both bathrooms where kept really clean and never an issue one being available.

Really convenient for work and right next to the harbour and beach, great for walks to walk off the fantastic food they serve daily. Staff really helpful and considerate.

I would not classify the following as 'What I didn't like', I just mention a few points for others to be aware of. The rooms are above a popular local bar. It was Saturday night and there was a band playing until midnight. My room was directly above the front door and the bar area, meaning I could hear the music quite loudly in my room, and people outside the front door smoking and talking. But, I was forewarned of this in advance in the room advertisement, so I could not complain. I choose to join in with the festivities in the bar until 23:00, enjoying a beer and people watching. Then I went to bed, put my ear plugs in and slept very well. The key point, we are told up-front of the music on a Saturday so I could not complain. There is no breakfast available, as the pub is closed in the morning, and there are no kitchen facilities in the property to make breakfast. So, I popped to the local supermarket after leaving the property (there are several, and they start breakfast at 08:00). None of the above would stop me from staying again.

Owner was very friendly and made me feel welcome. The room, part of a converted apartment, was all that I needed it to be for a short, single night stay; clean and convenient. There was ample, free parking, outside the property. The property is part of a popular local pub. The pub has a cosy, welcoming feel, and was clearly popular with local people. Good food is served so you don't need to go far to find a meal, should you wish to dine-in. Located on the water front of the estuary, a short walk from the beach, the maritime museum, and the large coastal park. The room served my needs very well and I would, when taking price into consideration, certainly use it again.

The shared bathroom, but the bathroom/shower area was very clean so not one to complain on that section but could be a little better for some type of en-suite for a family of 5 in one room.

The property overall is lovely, the bedrooms are basic but you don’t need much else, beautiful view from our room, clean and very much a pleasant stay overall.

Just me and my daughter being tall we just had to watch our heads depending what side of bed we got out and in off as the ceiling slopes abit. But was OK.

Location was great, staff were lovely, though there was entertainment at weekend while we were there it didn't affect our stay.

I didn't like the water from the bathroom where I filled the kettle for tea.

Excellent for the price I paid for a night stopover on my way to Aran. Close to Troon ferry, Spotlessly clean everywhere, which for me, is very important along with a cmfortable night's sleep. Tasty food in the pub restaurant. I enjoyed my meal and wine. Excellent service. I have no complaints. I would book again if in the area again
