Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Clean and comfortable and great place to stay. We were attending concert at Wembly, very convenient location, not far on tube to Wembly Park. Only 15 minute walk from tube station to B&B. We ate at a restaurant just by Canons Park tube station before going to concert. Friendly owner who lives on site.

I might have just been blind if there already was one, but a little sign advertising the B&B out front might be helpful! I was worried I was knocking at a random person’s door and disturbing their afternoon 😂
Lovely little property!! Very quaint and cute!! I had one of the small single top rooms and it was well-kept and super clean!! Much better than my own room 💕 Jannet was an absolute sweetheart!! Super helpful and a perfect host!! I would 100% stay here again! 🫶

Only minor gripe is that there was no off road parking when we arrived but there was plenty of on street parking just around the corner, wouldn't put me off staying again.
Booked to stay here to attend a gig at Wembley stadium and couldn't really fault anything, especially for the price. Room was comfortable and the stadium was super easy to get to and from, it's about a 10 minute walk to the tube station and then only 3 stops away.

The cat gave me a dodgy stare as I was coming down the stairs. Ha ha.
Good location for Stanmore station, it had everything I required & the bed was comfortable. Great value for money, only 4 stops to Wembley Park station. I would definitely stop here again in the future.

The listing advertised breakfast included but was only cereal, I would of liked a cooked breakfast but my Aunty was happy with her croissant and cereal.
My Aunty felt safe, she liked the extra little touches you did to make her first stay in a b & b very pleasurable. Thank you Janet

Nothing to dislike
We arrived early Saturday morning as we were going to Wembley so we parked on the road which wasn't a problem. The host Janet kindly let us have a key to our room so we could come back after the match. Our room was lovely with some really nice touches and the bed was so comfy. We had a really nice bathroom with all products to use. The place was spotless. The location is perfect for Wembley with the station being a 15 minute walk away. We found a great chinese restaurant within 15 minutes walk. The host Janet is so lovely and welcoming. We were up and off early the next morning and she wouldn't let us leave without a croissant each as we didn't have time for breakfast. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Nothing really!
A great little house / rooms esp for business people! Small room mine was BUT I was cosy all the same and owner was very polite & helpful too! Fridge on the stairs, shared, was a big bonus too!

Very homely, cosy, quiet and comfortable. Plentiful tea, coffee and breakfast items. Lovely friendly host. Close to Jubilee line and free on-street parking. Great value.

Excellent location, 14 min walk to Canons Park Tube Station and 10mins from the M1. Has parking outside the house. Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating with early check in. Will definitely stay again.

It was a 10 minute walk from the tube station, which was not the venues fault and no problem (aside from aching legs after a 3 hour gig).
The friendly host and we'll appointed facilities.
