Mike was such a great host - so funny, nice and friendly with lots of local knowledge, historical tidbits and entertaining stories. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable in his home. The house and our room were very cosy, clean, nicely decorated, and smelt really nice. We appreciated the breakfast he provided, especially the fresh fruit salad and homemade spiced fruit, in the large and beautifully decorated living room with views. We enjoyed the garden space as well, so peaceful and we got to see a beautiful sunset. A super lovely stay that we'd definitely recommend!

We would have felt more comfortable if we could lock our bedroom doors when we were not at the property.

The rooms at Taigh Pa were beautifully appointed and beds were lush. The shower was excellent. Breakfast was substantial and delicious. Mike was very welcoming and full of local knowledge.

Staying at Taigh Pa is like being home, away from home :) Mike's warm welcome and excellent island stories and tips made our 2-day stay extra special. Instructions on how to find our way to the house worked fine. Host was very friendly and we enjoyed his stories and tails very much. Breakfast was beatiful. We are sorry we were 1 hour late from the check in time and we encourage other travellers to plan their journey so that narrow roads and left-sided traffic won't cause any surprises.

A lovely welcome from Mike whose knowledge of the Island is exceptional. Mike and his wife have created the most beautiful B and B, exceedingly comfortable room, appointed to the highest standard of furnishing and cleanliness. The breakfast was absolutely amazing.

2 nights on Skye not enough.

Love Skye. Location, although anywhere on Skye is well located. Did I mention LOVED Skye. Rugged, picturesque, sharing the quite narrow roads with unfenced sheep, spotted Highland Coos. Good breakfast with homemade preserves. Very comfortable Sealy bed. Lovely rural view from our window. Onsite car parking.

Excellent position, house perfectly clean and marvellously beautiful; Mike, the host, very gentle and friendly. He was so nice, telling us history and interesting stories about Scotland and Isle of Skye, so kind preparing us a wonderful breakfast and hosting us in a wonderful room with all the comforts. Breakfast would be perfect with eggs or some warm savoury option.

We truly felt welcomed at Taigh Pa as Mike is a lovely host! The room is very cosy, spacious and nicely furnished - you feel like home. Coffee, tea and some bisquits are given. Strong and hot shower was great after day of hiking in the rain.

We loved visiting with Mike and hearing his stories and recommendations. The outdoor space was wonderful when we had good weather. The continental breakfast was excellent and hearty. He catered to who his guests were.
