Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThere were quite a lot of spider webs around the room and I spotted 2 spiders across my 6 night stay (one on the ceiling & one in the shower). Walls are really thin so you can hear every conversation going on in the corridor and nearby rooms. The sinks didn’t have warm water no matter how long I let it run for but the shower thankfully did. There’s not really shops that’s nearby so you do have to travel a bit for things like food and supplies. Finally believe the reviews of how there are rats running around outside the front door where the bins are😂😂.
They were nice and let me check in and leave my bags a few hours earlier than check in time because I arrived in that area too early. Easy access. Parking outside. Bus stop right outside.

United KingdomDear Booking.com Our stay at 70 Lavender Rise was a complete disaster. From the moment we arrived, the property was unsafe, filthy, and completely unacceptable: We couldn’t even lock the door as no key was provided, meaning we could not safely leave our belongings. The garden was full of rubbish and used tissues, looking like it hadn’t been touched for a year. The child bed was broken — the slats had collapsed, and we had to fix it ourselves just to put the mattress on. No air conditioning, no facilities — absolutely nothing This was horrible and misleading accommodation. Frankly, spending just £20 more on a budget hotel like Premier Inn or Travelodge would have been far better. I am extremely dissatisfied and demand this be resolved immediately with a refund. Regards, Rashid

United KingdomMy family of three stayed here, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of our expectations. The space was extremely small, with a cramped room and a tiny bathroom that made daily routines challenging. The sink was so small that we had to bend awkwardly just to brush our teeth, which was inconvenient and uncomfortable. One major issue was the lack of a kettle to boil water, something I consider a basic necessity for any Airbnb. This made it difficult to prepare simple things like tea or coffee. Additionally, the bedding was rumpled and appeared untidy, which didn’t give us confidence in the overall cleanliness or attention to detail. While the location was okay (close to a bus stop), the size constraints and missing amenities significantly impacted our stay. I’d recommend future guests be prepared for a very compact space and consider bringing their own basic supplies

United KingdomThe facility was very dirty and remained so throughout our 7-night stay. The manager was barely responsive and remained mostly aloof. The property is undoubtedly very poorly managed. If they change the cleaner and change the manager; it might make a difference. Not a place we would ever consider staying at again.

United KingdomIt had bed bugs . Cockroaches . We checked out late and someone came in the room whilst we was inside he was staying there after us but no cleaners or no staff came to refresh the room for the next customers. We had a reason foe our stay and that was yo confirm the disgrace living standards the boss allows people to stay in. He is only concerned about taking money of people and has not any Consideration for his customer. I am full of bites and have evidence of all . We have vedios and photos

United KingdomThey have a no guest policy, which is fine but normally it's stated either in "important information" or most likely in the description of the place. A lot of people book hotel rooms to fully enjoy their lives as adult...in short I wanted to get d....d d..n but i couldn't because only after I paid for the room and sent my ID, I received a bunch of rules which includes "no extra guest". The best one is the rule number 7 which among other things, forbids to stain the towels. So make sure you wash your hands like Samuel Lee Jackson because if you are sloppy like John Travolta they charge you 20 pound extra after you leave the premises. And it's not like the place is spotless: you want me to fear for my life if by accident I drop some of my juice when I prepare the milk shake but the cupboard (both on the toilet and kitchen) are a bacteria paradise? Not to mention the size of the room: 3 people would have been a nightmare. But the best part is the host who wouldn't bother reply your messages. Avoid at all cost!!!
Newly decorated building and good working condition fridge.

KenyaThe place was littered with rubbish at the entrance to the premises and a lot of rat's chasing each other at night. I spent the night there outside. Until a good Samaritan offered me a place to sleep .It was bad.

United KingdomAbsolutely filthy. Huge pile of stinky rubbish outside with rats, inside clearly hasn’t been cleaned in some time. Dirty glasses in the cupboard, inside the fridge filthy, shower so bad we refused to use it, floors filthy and covered in hair. Unrolled a towel and found pubic hair, screws sticking out of the headboard. Cob webs everywhere. Spot light loose in the ceiling. Walls paper thin and other guests noisy late at night. Bed extremely creaky with a very thin and lumpy mattress, thin lumpy pillows and a duvet so thin it might as well have been a sheet. Pretty sure the bedding hadn’t been changed either. Emailed the host and no response
Nothing, it was impossible to like anything about this place
