The window was missing any shade or blinds (which contributes to overheating in the sunny days and we went to London during a heat wave). The bed does have single duvet, I would strongly prefer two smaller ones (and lighter during the summer time).

The location is quite good for the price - short walk from the metro station, that was the main reason why we picked it. There was a fan in the room, which we were very grateful for, as some of the nights were really warm... The owner is responsive and helpful.

One concern was that the room's heating facility did not function adequately, which affected overall comfort. I caught a flu due to it. While the kitchen's heating facility was satisfactory, the kitchen was poorly equipped. It only provided a frying pan, a bread knife, basic cutlery, and a few glass cups, which limited its usability.

The location was highly convenient, with easy access to essential amenities including restaurants, grocery stores, a gym, library, as well as both train and bus stations. Housing accessibility was also well-facilitated.

Garbage management (lack of information around how to dispose the garbage), detached bathroom, camera facing bathroom.

Small independent service flat with all basic facilities. Location and ease of access to all required commute underground, over ground, buses. Right in high street accessible to all necessary shops. The host is friendly and accessible to calls and messages.

I couldn't sleep because there wasn't a window blind. I called the staff to express my concerns about the absence of a window blind but no answer and I sent a text message, the message was read but no reply. That was frustrating.

getting charged extra on my return without an explanation

I was charged an extra 78 pounds to my card for an unknow reason and cannot get in touch with anyone to establish why ?? the accomodation had a door in the flat which we could not lock.

Firstly its a difficult place to find. We found parking down the road at a random private parking place you have to use an app to book, which was okay. When we got to where the property was meant to be, there was no indication of which property it was. I messaged the host and all they gave me was the lockbox code, flat number and 'in front of bus stop' which didn't help much. A nice random gentleman ended up helping us as he seemed to live in the buildings next door and has had to help people previously. Worryingly though, he knew where the lockbox was and the code to get into it, he also knew where the flat was inside the building. Although I doubt he would be up to no good, it is quite a risk having a stranger know how to get into your apartment and where it is. When we got into the flat there were two rooms labelled 1 & 2, and a bathroom which said 'to be used only by the occupants of room 2'. When I asked the host which room I was meant to be staying in they just repeated 'room 13' and seemed confused as to what I'm was asking until I sent a picture of the two numbered doors to them. Our 'private' bathroom had been used by someone semi-recently as there was a load of toilet roll in the loo. The shower barely worked and wouldn't stick to a single temperature. Please be advised that this apartment IS shared and there is someone else in the other room within the flat. Upon reading the listing closer it does mention this, but was a bit of a surprise when we were getting changed and another random person walked into the flat. The shared facilities in the flat were relatively clean, but the room wasn't and had hair and dust all over the place.

It had everything we needed for a single night stay, fridge worked, taps worked, no oven except microwave. The location of the apartment was quite good and is close to public transport and shops.

It was in a good location, easy to get buses and trains. The property was very quiet and clean.

The curtain hanger was broke and the curtain was draped over the window. So the choice was to have a dark room to sleep in or closed window. We only got one towel and when asked for a second we got it quite late the next day.
