It didn’t seem to have been cleaned prior to new check in. Dustpan was still full of rubbish and hair. Plates and glasses were absolutely disgusting. Mould around bathroom and sink was blocked. BBQ was locked and to be able to use it, an extra £20 is chargeable! .No wardrobes provided. We appreciate it is a self catering service however any coffee or tea bags should have at least been available. The properties are not fully private, you could see people driving and passing by whilst being in the tub.

A little in need of maintenance on the outside especially the decking and a few issues inside the leaking pipe from the radiator dishwasher couldn't use as the tablet holder wouldn't stay closed and smell from the drain

The location and surrounding area is great especially the ice-cream van that came around a bonus

It was looking a bit old and both the showers were not easy to use and did not stay consistently the same temperature. It was also very hard to cool down the lodge once it was hot.

The pod we stayed in was not clean and needed some maintenance, which is a shame. If the place was well maintained it would be amazing. Deposit still isn't back in our account, but it can take up to 7-10 days. When we've been elsewhere it's near enough instant. The barbecue that's at the pod is £10 deposit and £10 to rent for the night, which is really not worth it.

Beautiful location. Grounds are beautiful. Location of pods are tucked away with lots of privacy.

The hot tub jets didn't all work fully so was disappointing but everything else was great. We did have a couple on the 2nd night who argued after a few drinks etc..but thankfully that stopped at a decent time to sleep

Stating that there is a bbq area included, but charing to hire the bbq separately is wrong, exploitative and bad business for you. The bbq was only a cheap bbq and only uses the same bottled gas as the cooker. I used more gas cooking with the oven and three ring burners than I would have used using the bbq; therefore, costing you money. Separately, the cabins are looking a bit tired and could do with a refresh: rusting tables, delaminated wall unit doors, some light bulbs not working, stained (but not dirty) bedding.

Our lodge was in a perfect location on the site. It was lovely and peaceful.

The pillows were too soft for us personally. A small bar on the site would be nice, but again, personal preference. We had an older dog with us so not able to walk to any pubs, plus the roads aren't pedestrian friendly as no pavements.

The entrance to the site is spectacular. A bridge over the lake, watching the swans swimming around. Reception staff were very helpful. Our lodge was clean and comfortable, and the BBQ and hot tub were wonderful additions. The site was pretty at night, all lit up with fairy lights. A pizza van and ice cream van visiting was a nice touch too.

The lodge felt like it was almost ready for a redress. We didn’t realise that the second bedroom was a mezzanine, so ok but not ideal

We had to pay extra for everything! The lodge didn’t come with hand wash / shower gel / coffee / tea bags etc. however was available to buy in the on site shop. Also we expected use of the bbq to be included due to the cost of staying and were disappointed we had to pay extra to use this

A stunning entrance into a beautiful property, has a special feel about the place. We booked just one night to break up a long drive from lands End, the kids wanted to stay for longer and so did I… we will be back!

As a couple who have our own annex we let out I thought a couple of touches could improve presentation to make it absolutely outstanding . We arrived late just as the shop and reception was closing to find only a few sheets of toilet roll available….rationing loo paper is a tad stressful. Mismatched garden furniture and an array of unmatched crockery. All tiny tweeks not major could have made it absolutely perfect

The location and setting was superb and the lodges were thoughtfully placed. For me the sound of running water and birds were lovely. The bed was comfortable and the lodge was tastefully furnished and an amazingly good use of space. Towels and shower were lovely. Hot tub was well situated and really enjoyable

Would’ve been nice to have had tea, coffee & sugar included in the cabin! A kettle and coffee machine was provided but no tea or coffee etc like in hotels.

The bin lid didn’t close and the oven marker was invisible. That delayed our dinner. The lock on bathroom door didn’t lock. It is self catering so there is no hand wash, luckily we took our own

It was secluded and private. Just perfect as we used the hot tub. The area is so beautiful and perfectly located. I wish I had booked it for longer. It’s perfect for a peaceful holiday.

Hot hub was 41.5 degrees.( i work on a holiday park with hot tubs and that is far to high) it Was unbearable to be in it was so hot. Shower just trickled out water and was always facing down. When tried to lift it up the pipe came off. Stripped the bedding for the housekeepers in the morning and the mattress protector was covered in red ink. Oven had all the directions to use scrubbed off so had to guess the temp / grill, oven ext.

The jacuzzi didn’t work properly. It was more like a bath with a few bubbles. There were stains and rips on the sofa. Cleaners and maintenance man were unfriendly. Jacuzzi wasn’t private, none of them are.

It could be something really special. It was comfortable and clean. Receptionist was so lovely, friendly and professional. Kids loved the jacuzzi even though not all parts worked.
