Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing bad to say
The host was extremely friendly and accommodating. She would always ask me if I needed anything and if i was ok. It was a delight to stay at her place and I highly recommend. The room and bathroom was very clean and the house always smelt very nice. The location is also excellent too, just a few seconds walk from the accommodation are takeaways (Indian, Chinese, donner), bubble tea shops, tesco and grocery shops. It is also a very nice neighbourhood to stay in. All in all a great place to stay!!!

Very easy and comfortable room, Onyi was extremely helpful, responsive and made the trip really easy! Would highly recommend if anyone is needing to stay in Hatfield!

Excellent location and comfort. I had such a lovely experience staying here. It was an easy and seamless check-in process, very clean and nicely decorated room. There were security chimes at night when people walk by which can be a tad annoying. But this was quickly resolved when we informed the host the next morning where they immediately turned it off. The next few days we slept super well.
We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The room was part of their home, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Despite being so welcoming, they respected our privacy throughout our stay. We had access to their kitchen and washer, which made our stay even more comfortable. The environment was spotlessly clean and fresh, and the TV had a fantastic selection of channels. The location was also very convenient, with a Tesco Express just a 5-minute walk away, and several great food options like Chinese, Indian, and a kebab shop just a few doors down. Overall, a perfect place to stay, and we highly recommend it!

From the moment I arrived, the host made me feel incredibly welcome with their warm and friendly demeanor. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, offering helpful tips about the area and always being available if needed. The property itself was spotless—immaculately clean and well-maintained, which immediately made me feel at home. Nothing to not like unless you want something different like a normal hotel. Welcoming hosted property say no more!
Wasn’t 100% sure what to expect in a hosted property but I’m delighted to say the owner was lovely as was her family. Friendly and welcoming but respectful of giving you your own space if not chatty. As Arnold would say I’ll be back!!! Thanks for having me 5🌟 from me🙏

I enjoyed my stay, very clean environment and homely atmosphere. The family is very friendly and I particularly loved the toddler who always welcomed me with a hug & smile. The secure locks on the bedroom door made me feel safe at night and the self entry lock offered flexibility for my daily itinerary. I liked the variety of shops around the corner. I would definitely stay here the next time I visit Hatfield.

Our host was amazing. Very welcoming, attentive and had thought of everything we needed for our stay. The house was immaculate and I would highly recommend.
