Three days wasn’t enough!!!!

Charlie and Elanya are so attentive and cater for every need for a pleasurable stay. Nothing was too much trouble, Charlie is a fantastic host and exceptional when it comes to breakfast. 10/10 The Greenway Barn is a real gem and the location is fabulous overlooking the River Dart - very secluded and if silence is your forte this establishment is right for a relaxing stay.

TV could be in the room, but to say I really missed it… No. Wifi-reception in the room was poor

Nothing at all. The host went the extra mile to ensure we were safe,given the current South West Water issue,by providing bottled water in the room and bathroom which was reassuring. So my stay was not affected and I’ve returned home heathy and well.

The property is gorgeous in an amazing setting. The host is both friendly and discrete, always on hand to provide anything you need. He lit a fabulous fire each evening to make the lounge even more cosy.

Beautiful converted barn with comfortable bedroom, large en-suite and reception spaces for guest use with stunning views. Warm and welcoming host who was more than happy to help with local suggestions and directions. Excellent breakfast. Wish we had stayed a few nights longer and would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

The location was excellent and the quality of the building was also excellent. The property was decorated in a nice period style- only minor thing lacking was a chair in the lovely luxury bathroom. The hosts, Charlie and his wife were very friendly. The breakfast was also excellent. We ate out at local pub in the evenings and drank wine in front of a roaring log fire in a lounge reserved for guests use. We didnt get to use the excellent games room. We did leave a day early simply because the weather was so bad and the National Trust were closing their properties and walking in the area was wet and unpleasant.

Amazing location with walks and views only 14 mins by car from the ferry to Dartmouth. Really wonderful breakfast and an enthusiastic and helpful host. Narrow lanes but manageable even with the Sept 2023 floods. A great place to stay. Many thanks. Peter

Charles was an excellent host, very attentive to our needs but not intrusive. The property is in a beautiful location and is tastefully decorated and furnished. The breakfast was nicely presented with fresh fruit and cooked to order options available.
