Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. United KingdomI would of liked to have been told that our room wasn't in the main building. Although there was only about a meter of covered walkway that was outside it would of been nice to have known beforehand. The reception area and the corridor to the door to where we had to cross over to the other side of the hotel was very nice but as soon as we got into the other part of the hotel where our room was there was a completely different atmosphere. It smelt different (a bit musty ), there were no pictures or even a plastic pot plant on the stairways and it just seemed like we were in a different hotel. We had an evening meal in the hotel restaurant that was a huge disappointment. My food was cold and didn't even look very appetising, we were really hungry as we had been travelling most of the day. I would of expected a lot more choice on the menu and a better standard of food in a hotel like that. Breakfast was good, dinner was awful!
Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was large and the pillows were lovely. The room looked like it had recently been upgraded and the bathroom had a lovely shower. Breakfast was nice with a good choice of English and continental and the staff were attentive.

United KingdomRoom service both nights fell short. For example, no cutlery and cold food. Bed was super hard. Music was loud until midnight - be aware it is a wedding venue when booking. Guests have to pay extra for parking.
The burgers were delicious. It was clean. Staff were pleasant. Setting was pretty. Request for no feathers in room was dealt with quickly.

No cushions for the rock hard chairs on the balcony plus Being pestered by wasps and hornets. But there nice staff such as Elena she’s brilliant what a kind professional caring person she is.

United KingdomBuilding work on A30 dual carriageway was causing travel disruption and the road noise is loud when sitting on the terrace, but inside hotel this is not a problem.
Big room with king size bed, very clean and comfortable Air conditioning worked very well in this heat wave and it was easy to turn the temp up and down. Requested a ground floor room and we able to bring a dog.
