I could not find fault.

The facilities were superb. All I could possibly need provided. I particularly enjoyed the location - while easily accessible I enjoyed the appropriate amount of solitude out on the machair. Situated at the end of road there is a lovely walk to a beautiful beach. Host welcoming and clearly aimed to ensure all was in order. Much appreciated..

Toilet very slightly cramped, minor gripe though

Sparkling clean, easy to find. Surprisingly well equipped with an oven and hob, as well as the usual of kettle and toaster. Well laid out, comfortable.

Lovely cute pod with everything you could need. Very clean and comfortable. We loved the breakfast food (eggs, milk, bread etc) that was in the fridge and basket when we arrived. Wish we stayed longer!

There were quite a lot of flies when it was a sunny day so we were unable to eat dinner outside (but this is to be expected as the pod is by a loch).

The kitchen was well equipped and there was a lovely welcome basket. A good location to visit both the north and very south of Uist. Lots of incredible walks nearby.

Nothing. Some people may want wifi and more technology but it is the perfect escape for getting away from it all!

It was perfect! Amanda has thought about everything needed for a perfect stay. I had stayed in pods before but they were basic compared to the hotel style comfort that was in this pod. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked with provisions and equipment. Would recommend 100% and would definitely stay again if in the Outer Hebrides. Taing Amanda!

Clean, comfortable, well equipped, warm, parking. Host was very kind and left a welcome pack of bread, milk, jams and biscuits. It was wet and windy outside but we didn’t hear a thing indoors.

No dislikes at all - ideally we would have liked to have a microwave.

It was our first stay in a 'pod' and we were surprised at how spacious it was. We were there for only one night but it was clean and had everything we needed - including a good shower and a tv. The big bonus was the location: a short walk took us out onto the machair and then to the sea. On the walk back to the chalet a white-tailed eagle flew low to the south. Could easily have stayed for much longer.

We stayed at this Pod during our Hebridean Way cycling tour, and it couldn't have been better! The pod was incredibly cosy, spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished. Everything we needed, and more, was thoughtfully provided, from kitchen essentials to the smallest details, all perfectly stored and organized. The bed was extremely comfortable, offering a restful night’s sleep after a long day of cycling. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket filled with bread, milk, eggs, coffee, tea, and other thoughtful touches—a real treat! Communication with Amanda, the host, was first-class. The location is stunning, and the beach is just a short walk away. Highly recommend this pod for anyone exploring the area!

Everything perfect!

This was our first pod experience and it was much better than expected. We had a great time and even extended our stay for another night. You will find anything you need! It was easy to find and the location was great. We took a small walk to the beach and even saw whales. Would definitely recommend and come again!

The pod was in a lovely peaceful location, with a relatively short walk to a beach. We stayed in each of the pods at this location and they were both immaculate. The host was very friendly and had unexpectedly left us with some very welcome supplies - bread, milk, butter, jam, coffee and tea.

My wife and I cycled the Hebridean way at the start of the August, we stayed at Hoilisgeir self-catering pods on one of our nights The pod seemed brand new and well proportioned, the bed was comfy and there was a wide selection of teas and coffee to enjoy whilst we were there along with toast and lovely preservatives for a nice breakfast in the morning. Communication Amanda was first class and she even posted back to me a set of headphones that I forgot whilst staying. The Islands are beautiful and I would highly recommend a stay at this pod if you decide to come and explore them.

Nothing at all couldn’t fault the pod or host.

The pod was immaculate with all the required cooking methods available, I like to eat my own food so a pod is fab. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept like a log always a bonus when working away. Everything I needed was there all beautifully stored. Nice and cosy as well as it was typical Scotland and at, windy and cold. The host paid me a visit shortly after I arrived to confirm all was well, very pleasant and helpful, looking forward to going there again if it’s available when I need it. 😍
