Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The room was nice and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the pool was excellent.

My 14-year-old son, who has a personal trainer in London, was disappointed because he couldn't use the gym due to an under-16 restriction, not even under my supervision.

The staff were so friendly and so helpful. Everyone was great - from house keeping, to reception, to the restaurant, to the pool every member of staff were welcoming and kind. The food was v good for a hotel restaurant.

Cost of parking

Suprisingly clean and well kept. I’d read reviews and was skeptical but the hotel and leisure facilities were great. Staff all very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean with plenty of loo roll, towels, pillows, soap (didn’t need to ask for anything). Smart TV. Didn’t have breakfast but the bar was super helpful when needed. Hotel setting is lovely had a lovely garden view.

Would be nice for hotel staff to be aware of noise disruptions during the night hours - was woken up three times on the one of the nights: 1am, 4am and 6 am from the same group of people treating the corridors like a common room.

The room was simple, clean, bright and felt spacious. Good tea and coffee facilities in the room, love a cuppa at times. The bed was comfortable and good pillows. Slept well. Breakfast was in a lovely environment. Good choices of food and options available, very impressed and satisfied.

Only negative point is that I was told by the restaurant manager that I was not allowed to be barefoot in the breakfast area. I live a barefoot lifestyle which doesn't hurt or affect anyone else. My family is fine with it. I didn't want to argue but I did ask him why and was there a hotel policy. He said because of health and safety. I could have asked him to provide proof but I didn't want to push it further. But I know there is no health and safety policy in the UK that governs not allowing barefoot unless it is a local policy. Could you kindly then clarify if this is the case with your hotel chains and also for future stays in your hotels.

Did not the breakfast. Too expensive

Bar shut effectively at 11:00pm for most drinks except what was on tap as new staff not allowed to serve wine or spirits. We witnessed many visitors coming back and wanted a nightcap, only to be told 'sorry' beers only. Not what we expect when staying in a hotel.

Very easy to get to from the motorway. Big car park. Comfy, clean room.

We didn’t bother with the breakfast as it was quite expensive to book

The hotel offered us a free upgrade on our wedding anniversary, which was gratefuly accepted. Staff saved us well throughout our stay.

Use of swimming pool and gym

Dead bugs on the curtains nets didn’t fill me with confidence for the rest of the room. Restaurants food timings were off as food had to come out at different times

Room was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower were very good. The hotel itself was really smart and in a quiet location with plenty of parking space.
