United KingdomNo shampoo. The bottle was empty but looked fine until in the shower . Think that should be checked during cleaning. Too late to phone reception. At reception the girl walked into back of office for a chat . No bell to get attention. I think she saw me but I didn't have luggage so she didn't realise I was checking out. Had to call out which is never good to hand back keys.
Clean room . The coffee and milk. Slightly more milk than tiny portions and 1 pkt with 2 small biscuits would have been nice.

The location and layout of the hotel. The warm welcome from Aidan at reception. Comfortable, practical bedroom - ours, 133, was quiet, facing trees. Very good breakfast with lovely service (wish we'd noted the name of one kindly assistant). It felt good value, the B&B aspect. Health club included free.

Food was really good. My partner was exceptionally pleased with the Fish and Chips. The room was clean, airy and quiet. and the staff were often helpful, but sometimes a bit rushed off their feet. was able to do some office work and found teh whoole night there, comfortable, clean and relaxing
