There's always someone that enjoys constantly coughing or clearing their throat as a habit when they absolutely don't need to and of course there's always at least one person snoring like a wild animal all night. But that's nothing to do with the place. Downfalls of stating at any hostel.

Ideal location for exploring Hull and easy access to the train station; quiet; grocery across the street and a nice Kitchenette with the basics. Easy walk to the train station.

My bunk room didn't have any chairs (probably because of its size).

The hostel is cosy and well layed out not far from the major attractions of the city centre. Small but well equipped kitchen area, they operate an honesty box for continental breakfasts.

Comfortable and clean bed. Glenn gave great advice on what to visit. Kitchenette with all the basics. Locker with key for personal belongings in the bedroom.

Besides a small glitch in trying to check in that was resolved very quickly there ain't nothing I didn't like about this nice place of Glens. If you want back to basics at a very cheap price I would certainly and highly recommend Trinity Backpackers.

My stay in Room 6 was very nice due to the location been in close rang with so many amazing things to see and eat as well as to forfill your day/night

The only nitpick I have is that the motion sensitive lighting on the stairs is a little slow to light up, but it was hardly a big issue by any means.

The room was lovely! Very comfy bed, and the desk was a nice touch. Staff (owner I believe?) was extremely friendly and I felt very welcomed, he was there in the lobby every time I passed by and made sure to ask if I needed anything. I didn't end up using the kitchen much, but I was very impressed by how homely and tidy it was - and it was a lovely surprise to see it was right next to my room! The hostel is also in a fantastic location in the city centre. By far the best experience I've had staying in a hostel yet :)

I really like the hostel as is so cosy and has backpacker vibe. The host Glenn welcomed me very warmly and made me feel well received. Also I could leave my suitcase before check in time and also after check out. There is lovely kitchen very clean and cosy with all necessary for a stay in the hostel. Also I find it as a great location. And the building is historic as it used to be theatre there. Close to Marina and the town centre where is vibrant life ☺️ . My room was very quiet and ensuite. Thank you Glenn 🫶 Also Hull is so ch a great spot to relax from rush city like is London from where I arrived. I definitely would like to come back and stay in the same place. Easy to get to/ from train station. And lovely decoration in the hostel. See you next time Glenn! 🍀

Windows slightly open in winter ! Too much fresh air ! ( I I think it is to ensure no condensation develops . Actually the hostel was nice and warm . . .

Glenn is a brilliant host Karolina - the volunteer from Chile was my first contact ( she let me in ) and she was awesome too. Sadly I think she's gone travelling - but Glenn is your man !

Shower in en-suite - the shower cubicle was EXCELLENT . . . . BUT the shower head was fixed - and the water was by push-button, no temperature control - - I like to have COLD showers in the morning ; not possible with this system
