Didn't like there was coffee machine downstairs like other ibis and also doors open at night and didn't have to scan key card to get in lift

The property was ideally located for Manchester acadamy, it was basic but clean and comfy staff were friendly when we arrived but didn't speak afterwards

The only downside was there was a ceiling tile that was missing and drips of water would come out of the ceiling in the dining area and had reported this a few times.

The room was comfortable and warm and when it was too warm the air conditioning worked perfectly and cleaners were polite with our requests of changing towels.

The Tv was not always working but they came to fix it straight away. Maybe a wifi issue...... Car parking in the area was a little expensive. It would be good if the hotel had their own car park.

The noise from nearby venues was unbelievably loud, went on until 4am!! We asked for a quiet room, it was far from it. The shower walls were dirty.

For what it is - a budget hotel - this is a very good option and well situated, with a good pub (The Lass) across the road and a music venue also across the road. Five mins from the train station it's pretty handy.

The only negative was, the toilet seat was broken but my partner managed to fix it. But, there were so many positives to our stay that this didn't really affect our experience.

The staff were all so friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. The hotel is in a great location and not too far from the train station. The room had everything we needed, and was a decent size. The bed was very comfy. I will definitely be staying here again and would recommend to family and friends.

The beds are lovely and huge (Euro King which is bigger than rubbish UK King). Mattresses are decent too, so combined with the AC which kept us nice n cool during the summer, makes for a very good night's sleep. For me, the night's sleep is the most important part of a hotel and ibis were exceptional here. I am a convert if they're all like this.

Good sized airy room, clean and fresh. Good sized shower also. No iron in the room however an ironing room available. Reception was bright and staff were professional and friendly. Centrally located, about a 5 minute walk from Oxford Rd train station.

I did not like the breakfast. I only had it on the first morning but chose to go to a local coffee shop the next morning.

The room was clean. Check in was really fast and easy. and the staff member (sorry I forgot his name) was very helpful. He gave me some good advice on where to eat and directions to a place that I had booked to visit.

The view out the window wasn't the best. There was a lot of furniture clutter in the room which made it slightly difficult to move around. I didn't like the décor but that's just my personal taste. The breakfast was slightly overcooked. A nearby guest was loud in the corridor at 10:30pm.

The people who work here are wonderful, so friendly and helpful in every way. Great location. I was given a room upgrade out of kindness of the hotel for no reason in particular. My room 006 was on the ground floor. I thought it was good value for money especially with breakfast included. They stored my bag for free for a few hours when I vacated the room. No issues with room key card.

When I tried to order food via the number to collect it. I waited over an hour and when I went down they didn’t even know that I had ordered. The food I ordered was not available. And was told only a few select items were available. It would be nice to have a daily menu of what’s available and what’s not available.

It's no frills but does the job very well, so no negatives really.

Very good value for money as I booked a bit in advance. Staff were great. Place was very clean with all I needed for a city hotel stay in a convenient central location.
