The cleanliness and also the property had a very strong odour and bed sheets were worn off and not clean as expected.

Fridge inside and out was filthy, no washing up liquid or hand soap. No towels. For an overnight stay I’d expect towels. Chalet was very tired

Could do with a better clean and update the fridge and cooker as was rusty and didn’t smell the nicest. Also the back bedroom gets wet by the window which made the bedding very damp. Also didn’t like the fact you couldn’t use the on-site facilities unless you brought a week pass for everyone not great if your just staying for the weekend.

On the whole was an ok stay had everything we needed.

The chalet smelt strongly of bleach and the floor was slippery from the amount of bleach used to clean it. We didn't realise until my husband walked on the floor in black socks and the amount of bleach residue still on the floor stained his socks. The double bed was very noisy and led to a poor night's sleep as it woke us every time one of us moved in the bed. We also thought the living room furniture wasn't very comfortable.

This was a close walk to the beach and amenities.

Chalet was dirty and not looked after. We had to clean all the door handles and light switches when we got there. Big cobwebs in the corners of the room, the storage cupboard door is filthy and the hoover doesn't suck anything up! H+S in the bathroom is needed, needs a bathmat and anti slip in the shower to prevent falls. No hooks on the door for towels. Needs a new double bed! Needs mould cleaning around all the windows. I wish owners would stay there themselves before renting them out.

It was ok to rest your head after being out all day but not a place we would stay normally. It wasn't advertised as being in a park Dean resort so we were shocked when we got there. It was a run down part of the park

Very unpleasant stay. Booked 3 nights could only manage 1. Sofa absolutely stinking, stained, ants everywhere, the smell coming from the washing machine was disgusting, beds uncomfortable, would definitely not recommend nor return.

The chalet was filthy, the fridge stank, lots of flies, tv didn't work, heating didn't work, the bathroom had lots of hair and stains, the toilet was filthy, the toilet roll was dirty and extremely dusty and the plug sockets weren't charging anything

we had a very good stay. The chalet was very clean and in good condition and the bedding was of very good quality. There was everything we needed in the kitchen. a plus the green space behind the chalet where the children were able to play ball. We were able to access the swimming pool of the resort with a pass. The resort playground is also new and close to the chalet. And there is a mini indoor play area in the restaurant with a terrace with a magnificent view of the estuary.

Bathroom floor & front door area damp, and with the rainy weather and beach this was a constant wet mucky floor (especially with mucky paws too) also the bedroom doors don’t close very well and being that it is asked dogs are not on the beds this was a bit tricky when they don’t shut properly. However wonderful stay and would return in a heartbeat!

Went away for Christmas for the first time ever and it couldn’t have gone better. The location was perfect, the view from the patio doors I will actually miss. Clean, cozy, & comfortable and the heaters were on ready for our arrival. The chalet is literally a stones throw from the steps down to the beach, we had some beautiful walks 😊

Access to site was difficult because of extremely bad weather with some flooding, and site was evacuated for safety reasons on the Tuesday afternoon, sadly after we had only been able to stay there for the first night of three.

Accommodation extremely nice and comfortable and site was clean and tidy. Park Dean staff were all very helpful.

The chalet was very dirty in all rooms, kitchen, toilet. There was spiders and cob webs in every room. Under beds in all room was VERY dirty, there was rubbish under beds. Bathroom was very dirty and we had to unblock shower drain. The washing machine we had to clean inside for our use. The fridge was rusty and dirty inside. The whole chalet stayed damp in all rooms. All the beds were very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. I have a very sore back from this and had 3 sleepless nights. Unfortunately this is the second time coming to Carmarthen bay and won't be coming back.

Such a lovely place and it was so close to the beach and not far to walk to the entertainment.

The chalet was very clean and had everything you need for a relaxing stay. I needed help when I first arrived and the owners were at the chalet within 5 minutes :)
