The staff were friendly. Toilets and showers were kept clean. The free tea/coffee was a nice touch.

The bedding provided was not adequate for the weather conditions. People were using the charging station to charge power banks and swapping them straight over so there was never any changing slots free! WiFi did not work either, I had to walk over to the rugby club to use theirs. Beauty tent was only powered during certain hours as well, from 6am to 11pm would be better!

    Great location, fantastic staff.

Blow up mattress was terrible. Not enough charging facilities. Bedding was not sufficient for cold weather.

Good sized tents , hot showers and seating areas , ideal .

Perhaps better if they brewed large pots of coffee on a hot plate , that would be ace . Also maybe a camp style bed instead?

If you're going to the TT then you couldn't get much closer to the track and walkable to good viewing spots, the start/finish line and Douglas itself. Large and busy site with an international mixture of bikers, free tea and coffee was a nice touch, staff were friendly and helpful as were fellow motorcycle enthusiasts.

If you're after a quiet and peaceful stay in the countryside then this isn't for you, the quiet period wasn't adhered to and motorbikes were started early in the morning but that was part of the atmosphere. Strangely only 5 showers open in the evening for a site with hundreds of campers. Had to pay extra for the hire of a sleeping bag just to avoid hypothermia.

Good location, great staff, good bar and food.

Bed mattress deflating every night, tent leaking water, muddy ground after rain, price per night was very high,

The place itself is very nice, local pub, very clean shower and toilet facilities, free tea and coffee, great and helpfull staff, also near to town center and 10 mins drive to douglas ferry.

Sleeping in tents due to weather conditions, heavy rain, around 200 tents, possibly hard sleep for sensitive sleepers, highly recommend to take your own sleeping bag

    Not a great deal.

Extremely inadequate bedding. When I requested additional bedding I was initially asked for further money, albeit they eventually relented. At 0730 I was told that additional duvets and blankets would be delivered shortly. At 2100 I had to request again when they were delivered quickly.

The overarching reason why this was such an excellent stay was the staff….they were amazing. From my booking mistake being rectified before we arrived, the friendly and informative reception on arrival, the lovely tent and facilities to the quick responses to any problems caused by bad weather and other campers was above and beyond anything we expected. Showers were brilliant, cleaned after every use, hot and plentiful, toilets are well kept and always available, always loo roll, soap and hand towels. Endless hot water, tea and coffee and charging lockers available with the ability to lock them while in use, portable lamps in tent, comfy beds, towels and bedding, chairs and table….they had thought of everything. Games and covered communal area a welcome addition along with the pamper tent and the best staff who were fun, helpful and just fabulous. Huge thanks for a fab stay Phil, Sophia and team xx

Although lots of lockers available for charging purposes some campers selfishly locked and kept theirs when not in use thus denying many from being able to charge their phones etc Possible solution could be to have the lockers in reception (as always manned)so that people have to relinquish them when not in use then all would have a fair chance of getting to use them.

How clean the facilities were. The location was perfect. Any antisocial behaviour was shut down quickly.

    The price.

Staff were brilliant, facilities were very good & clean.

Paying for a glamping pod to have a bit of luxury after a serious health issue, only to find out that a cheap inflatable mattress was supplied. Won’t be doing this again, will use the same amount of money & book a good hotel. Advert was very misleading. Being charged an extra £40 to get into the pod at 9am…when it was sitting empty & ready for my stay.
