Wished it had a sauna but we know it’s not a spa. Really no complaints at all.

Lovely setting and great location for our travels We loved our room and the entire facility. Great place! Helen at the front desk was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She also gave us pointers for our upcoming hike of Ben Nevis (we did it!) and other suggestions. Super friendly and welcoming-

We were 4 siblings traveling together. Two who were not staying at the hotel. Even though the 4 of us spent hundreds on food and drink, they were not happy for my 2 sisters coming to the room which was upsetting because no explanationwas given to this rule. They closed the bar at 10.30 which we thought was very early. The shower temperature kept fluctuating from cool to scorching hot, so that wasn't too pleasant.

The staff were very friendly and the food was exceptional. A great wine selection and the cocktails didn’t disappoint. The room was well laid out and equipped with everything we needed. Nice and clean, comfortable mattresses. The views.. Just wow!! Comfortable lounge next to a fire place to relax and catch up with eachother.

Superb top class hotel in an amazing location with a magnificent view and an excellent restaurant. I first came here in 1997 and have been many times since then - I shall certainly return.

Well designed hotel with a huge, very comfortable reception/seating area. Our standard room was clean, very spacious and comfortable with 2 armchairs overlooking Lochinver harbour. Good breakfasts in a lovely dining room, again overlooking the harbour. Staff all helpful and friendly. Excellent evening meals - filet steak fabulous! Lochinver is an excellent location for exploring this beautiful part of Scotland. Beautiful walks from the hotel, especially the River Inver loop, boat trips and stunning scenery all around.

Such a charming hotel. Stepping inside feels like entering a luxury lodge in the remote Scottish Highlands from a century or two ago. From the wood fireplace to the heated clothes drying room, the tartan and the decor; it makes a great impression. The rooms maintain the historic feel while mixing in a recently renovated bathroom with a great shower and full size tub and all the other modern conveniences. The entire hotel has wonderful hilltop views down over the town and harbor. This was a wonderful backdrop both for our morning coffee at the in-room sitting area and the lovely dinners in the dining room. The staff are always genuine and friendly and go out their way to be helpful. This hotel is an experience worth going a bit out of your way.

Upon arrival the hotel seems rather poor. Small, inexpensive changes such as the color of the hotel (white instead of cream) and lots of flowers (pots with geraniums or something) would make a world of difference. The interior could also be made more cozy by small adjustments.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is great with a view of the harbour. In short, a great hotel that does not fully exploit its potential in a great environment commercially. The food was delicious.

Everything! From arriving to a warm welcome, discovering our room had a lovely view of the harbour to the fabulous food and presentation of dinner and breakfast, our stay was exceptional. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is tastefully decorated in a lovely setting. Our stay at Inver Lodge was one of the high points on our NC 500 trip.

Room decor was a bit like staying in your nans house, and I couldn't find a plug socket next to the bed (it was on the wall opposite)
