Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Perfect location if you are out exploring Speyside. The parking is slightly small but plenty of free parking on the street. Communication was easy and lovely, with some lovely treats left out for us.

United KingdomTight entrance for driving in and out but no problem if you take your time.
Great location near the center of Keith, early opening bakery right below and a shop across the road. Nice little cafe around the corner for a late breakfast. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you could need for a few days and some nice little welcome gifts. Even though we never met the host, we had no problem contacting her with any query we had, and got a prompt response.

United KingdomBusy road right outside the property, though still slept fine.
Comfortable, warm, and great base for visiting Speyside. Spar grocers and great bakery right across the road from the property. Good parking. Great Indian restaurant within 15 minutes walk. Complementary dram and shortbread most welcome. Able to utilise the two side by side apartments, accommodating up to 8 adults (4 in our party gave us a bedroom each).

United KingdomBusy road outside, the sounds of the traffic were not too bad considering but we did keep the curtain closed if we were sitting in the living room otherwise some of the larger lorries were looking straight into the window while stopped at the traffic lights. Did not spoil our time but something to note
Fantastic apartment with everything you could need for your stay. Good location, everything within a 10-15 minute walk. Had seen reviews about the parking, it looked ok to get in/out of but we chose to park on the road to be on the safe side with a hire car, free parking and always plenty of spaces right outside the apartment so this wasn't an issue. Spar shop directly opposite ideal for grabbing milk and small bits, or there's a Tesco 10-15 mins walk away if you need more. Bakery downstairs does nice cakes and breakfast rolls to grab and go if out early, or if having a more leisurely start to your day the Boogie Woogie cafe around the corner opens at 10 and does a lovely breakfast. Plenty of places to go for an evening meal - Bengal Spice (bring your own alcohol), The Grampian, Ugie House, The Royal. Lots of information supplied by Helen in the apartment for things to do in the area, including some lovely walks (we did the one to the Falls of Tarnash). Really good communication from Helen throughout and we will definitely be recommending this place to everyone we know and will stay again if we find ourselves back in the area

AustraliaOnly fault would be parking. But no fault of Helen's. I had a large SUV rental and chose to park on the street. But that really wasn't an issue.
Location was central to many attractions. Spar across the road was useful. Quiet location despite main road. Beds very comfortable, kitchen well stocked with equiptment, bathroom spacious and water hot. House is beautifully decorated. Helen has done an amazing job and fantastic communicator.

United KingdomWe loved our stay and hope to be back. Perhaps the check-out steps were a bit too much - stripping off the bed sheet, washing dishes and taking out garbage. We would definitely do all these in any case and I think it's fair to ask it but being reminded to do it to avoid extra charges was a bit much.
Lots of space, equipped kitchen with everything we needed, small gifts on arrival - a very thoughtful host. My son's favourite thing were the storybooks which we read every evening :) Thank you! A perfect base to explore Speyside!

AustraliaThe location in Keith is good however you must have a car to drive to any nearby locations including distilleries, pubs (The Highlander Inn and Mash Tun are highly recommended, each about a 20 minute drive away from Keith) etc.
This is a great air BnB style place in Keith. The accommodation is in Fife Keith, a short walk from the main street of Keith. Boogie Woogie cafe (great breakfast) and the Spar (small supermarket) are right next door. The place was cosy, beds were comfortable, bathroom and shower a bit tired but all working and clean. The driveway was terrible to enter/leave but there is plenty of safe street parking. Owner/host provided detailed instructions to enter, rules for the stay and was contactable and friendly throughout our stay.

GermanyWe loved the homey vibes and the sweet little things in the flat. You can clearly see that a lot of love went into it. The beds were comfy and the bath high enough for my husband, a rarity. You need to take the stairs to get into the flat. It is close to the centre and two distilleries are close by.
