A true gem! We booked last minute and couldn’t have chosen better. Cosy, spacious, and hosted by a lovely, friendly owner. The location is a bit off grid but still fantastic. Stormy weather during our stay added to the charm! No kitchen, but enough equipment for a couple of days. Absolutely recommended!

The location was great. It was quiet and peaceful with amazing views. The room was very clean and organized. It had everything we needed. There was a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, and a small fridge. There were breakfast items, like bread, butter and jam, cereals and milk, juice, chocolate and biscuits, tea and coffee. There was an ensuite fitted with a rain shower. The wall sockets on each side of the bed has a USB port so it was so convenient to charge devices. The WiFi was strong and that helped because we had a very weak network signal. The best part of all is that Peter is an excellent host. He provided all the information we needed to find the place, with very specific instructions. He greeted us when we arrived and sent us off when we checked out. He also provided helpful information about places we wanted to go, and chatted with us and really made us feel welcomed.

I really loved the location because it was located on a hill overlooking the loch the view was absolutely stunning, although I never met the owner as all the information was relayed to me before I needed it and my stay was seamlessly smooth with absolutely no issues whatsoever but knew if I needed anything Peter was only minutes away to help. The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean with a mini kitchen and welcome parcel containing bread, milk and quite a few other treats which is a great idea and very welcome. Would definitely love to go back.

The table with the toaster could be slightly larger.

The room is spacious, the view is stunning and Peter was really helpful. The place is quite remote and the welcome pack which included cereal, chocolate, bread and milk was invaluable.

There was nothing we didn’t like, although here are some suggestions that could make the place even better: While the facility was brand new and decently equipped, it be great to have a little more equipment for cooking. For example, a mini electrical stove, a pan and some more utensils. The table in our room was a little scuffed, so replacing that with a new one wouldn’t hurt. Also there were no shelves for shampoo bottles in the shower, and it would be nice to have those too. 🛁

Peter and his daughter were really nice and sincere. Despite being remote, the facility was of great quality and was really close to connect for pretty much the rest of the Isles. The location was amazing, thw wifi was fast and little things like dogs and chickens outside our room really added to the whole experience of the place. 😊

The only thing that would improve the cabins would be if they were turned slightly round facing the sea a bit more,giving them a more private feel,I did feel slightly overlooked by the house at times,but to be fair the owners gave us our own space and didn't seem to be around much,the road towards the cabin is a bit rough,as are a lot of roads on Skye but fine if u take your time on them

The cabin was really nice,with everything you need for a short stay,the guidebook was excellent,the owners have put a lot of time in to give you comprehensive guide on where to go and what to do on the island,the dogs are very friendly,as was the cat,the host was great,seemed a really nice guy,they had left milk,bread tea bags etc and tea cakes,which went down well.

Quiet and peaceful with a glorious view, great to look out to with a cold beer after a day's sightseeing (and tackling the roads on Skye, lol) Chickens made a delightful addition.

I was expecting a least a small kitchenette. There is no facility to cook and clean up. There is a microwave, toaster and jug, plates and cutlery which I don’t equate to self catering that’s what you get in a hotel room. There was no covered area outside of the room and it was raining for most of the stay.

The location was fabulous, however it is on a non sealed road for approximately 1/4 mile. The drive in was on a pot hole ridden road.for 2 miles.
