A hot plate and sink would be a great addition, seeing it is remote from eating places.

Great accommodation. A bit remote but a good base camp for day trips on the Isle of Skye. Nice hosts. The room does not have a kitchen. Instead there is a toaster, kettle, microwave and a small fridge. The accommodation is self-catering. Nonetheless, tea, coffee and a bottle of milk were provided, as well as some orange juice, yoghurt, toast and biscuits. Highly recommended. Thank you very much.

Not much privacy as the owners driveway goes right in front of the unit, and there is another unit joined on with poor sound proofing so you can hear everything between units. A shame as it is such a peaceful location. Also the bed wasn't very comfortable but that's personal preference.

Great location, very peaceful and good base to explore northern Skye. Tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and well equipped unit with a kind of semi kitchenette (toaster, kettle and microwave). Breakfast goodies much appreciated.

Peter was such a great host - we're only sad we were here for one night! We showed up late after a long day of driving and were warmly greeted and shown around before being left to relax. The Room is great and so quiet, with great heating so we were super snug and warm even in the December cold! We woke up in the morning and did the short walk down to the beach and the ocean which was so beautiful even with grey skies and lashings of rain. Makes you want to write a novel and forget about your real-life worries. Will definitely stay here again when we're next back in Skye.

Remote location, amazing view, welcome pack on arrival, place well maintained and everything that you need for a couple days stay. I highly recommend that place to everyone.

Location was perfect with amazing views over the coastline and Peter was a very friendly welcoming host. Facilities were excellent, would recommend this for a summer visit as the weather here matters a little more, it's a very exposed spot at the end of a long track. The addition of a fridge and microwave was a plus too as the property has no kitchen.

Not a complaint but a warning. There are lots of rabbits on the road driving in and we nearly squashed one so watch out haha!

We’ve never stayed in a more beautiful location in the world. It’s as if you’re on the edge of the earth in the middle of no where when you walk along the beach. The room is clean, bright, comfortable and modern. The fridge was a decent size (the reviews said otherwise but we fit lots of stuff in it so maybe it’s new?).. and there’s a microwave. There are also chickens. The rooster woke us up for sunrise. The host was very friendly. We felt right at home and honestly 2 nights was not enough. We could easily have stayed there for 2 weeks.

Gorgeous location. excellent value. Friendly hosts. Chickens and pups in the yard were a plus. We really loved our stay and hope to return. They thought of everything and we appreciated the touches- including coffee and a bite to eat.

We arrived in the evening, after a day of exploring and it was fairly cold, would have been nice if the room is heated to at least a minimum degree. From the second day the room next door was also occupied, and one could hear everything through those very thin walls, literally everything… so it was hard to fall asleep. Other than this we enjoyed our experience.

This was the most affordable option on the island, the room was nice and clean. The host provided plenty of information & quick response during our brief chat via messages. They also left bread, orange juice, milk etc for breakfast which was a nice touch.
