The owners were amazing, breakfast and evening meals were fantastic, very hot and freshly cooked. Will definitely be visiting again.

The property was clean, tidy , welcoming, friendly and exceptionally well managed from the perspective of being able to arrive, check in , enjoy our stay and depart with the minimum amount of fuss and hassle. All of the staff and not just the owners were warm and friendly, showed an exceptional “can do attitude” to anything that was asked for. The staff went out of their way to accommodate their guests in the warmest and most efficient way. Well done! The food, including the breakfast was excellent. It couldn’t be faulted. The breakfast was freshly cooked, very tasty and highly recommended.

Water noise was the worst thing, water tank in the loft, not massively loud but can hear it at night.

Breakfast was fantastic, full English for both of us, one vegetarian.. both excellent!

The Jolly Sailor is the oldest pub in Looe, and is run by excellent staff. The room was perfect, the log fire was perfect, the location was perfect, and the beer was great.

I I don’t like pre-ordering my breakfast for the next day that’s my only problem on the second day of our day I’d ordered another breakfast came down and couldn’t eat it. If I could’ve ordered on the day I’d just add toast with poached eggs but that’s a small thing to worry about the food and breakfast was cooked to perfection with quality ingredients. I can’t big it up enough.

A really comfy room with a lovely view across the bay

That we had to leave, wish we could have stayed longer

The Inn has character and very interesting ghost stories. Met Zoe at breakfast, she is very friendly and told us the history of the Jolly Sailor. We turned up earlier for our checking in but they took our cases about 11am so we could enjoy the rest of our day. The day we where leaving we had go get our taxi 7. 30, they said that they could do a take away breakfast for us which was very good of them Lovely Inn and very nice owners and staff.
