Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff. Unfortunately, we were allocated one of the original older rooms overlooking the main road with traffic passing all night, if we had known prior to booking we would have requested on of the new rooms.

I thought the shower very small and difficult to get into. Had a shower because couldn't get any hot water in the sink.

Location, Room is a very well presented with a little mini fridge and a good size TV with all your streaming services, bed very comfortable slept well and a good ensuite shower room plus I did notice the carpet in the bedroom seems recently fitted with very thick pile. So overall Excellent accommodation would stay here again..

Nothing to dislike

The location was excellent for us -en route to a wedding venue. The pub is very pretty and the gazebo was lit up at night making it feel magical. The rooms were easy to access and we were pleasantly surprised that they were warm and it was chilly out when we arrived after the evening out. The rooms were spacious and clean. There was bottled water along with tea and coffee making facilities. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

Long wait for food. Mattress too soft for me but may have been fine for others. Good room facilities and gorgeous gardens and views when I was out of the room.

On busy road with narrow footpaths so couldn’t walk near the hotel

Small fridge next to the bed - noise all night ! There is plenty of room to put somewhere else . Room is quiet noise due to the traffic - i would look after the windows - noise cancelling sealing 5£/ meter

Breakfast was extremely slow, a very simple order, over 45 minutes. The poached eggs tasted of not much but vinegar, this should never be the case, not that much is needed. No time to ask for more as I was by now running late and the kitchen was closed!!

Lovely room, quite quiet on this occasion but l was lucky, the garden area was quite empty. Having the pub garden on one side and a walkway to the car park, with wooden gate on the other, could certainly be problematic.
