It's not anyone's fault but I'm not a big fan of a walk in shower with no glass panel. The shower itself is great but there is water absolutely everywhere in the bathroom once you're done. It is just a personal preference though.

Fantastic staff who really make you feel welcome and look after you. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean. The location is ideal if you want to stay in the town centre which we did. Great botanical toiletries.

The Hotel is being renovated and certain ares could not be used. It would have been good to know more in advance. It's a shame the spa is no longer running

The food was not good. The evening meal was cold and was sent back. At breakfast two attempts at poached eggs failed. The service was very slow at both meals.

Receptionist didn’t t seem to know what she was doing with the rooms booked ,we had booked breakfast and then when we turned up in the restaurant was told we hadn’t t. Also they couldn’t t activate the room card had to back to reception numerous times. Good job for the nice lad on reception Think the staff on reception need some training. We had the king suite only one patio chair to sit outside too. A

1. At the reception they didn’t tell me the room was facing the scaffolding that means that, on a working day, we could have people walking in front of us. For this there was no view or possibility to open the window 2. We went up to the terrace for dinner. The lady was quite rude in telling us there were no tables on the terrace. She gave us the menu coming back after 15 minutes and when ready to order she said they ran out of almost all food (pizza, steak etc…) so we left and we could leave earlier if been told in advance instead of forgetting about us with no water or attention 3. Check out took forever as there was only one person and a ling queue

The only issue was that we stayed during the renovation and I wish we had chance to experience all the facilities.

Lovely rooms, we stayed as a group and each room was perfect, including the disabled room. The staff were incredible. The breakfast was delicious. Great location.

We didn't have any issues with our stay, it was all good.

This was our second stay at The King's Head which is conveniently located in the heart of Cirencester. We had dinner here twice which was lovely. I like that it's a dog friendly hotel, even when we didn't have ours with us. The staff are always friendly, it is a beautiful period hotel with relaxed vibe.

The wait for breakfast. We had to ask for our drinks then again to order our cooked breakfast. This was due to it being understaffed, only 2 staff catering for the restaurant. Cooked breakfast was fine but very very little if you wanted continental breakfast. No pastries, only a few bits of melon no other fruit.

We did originally book massages and and use of the spa yet on arrival we were told the spa had completely closed and were unable to proceed with the massages (which was a bit of a shame as one of the main reasons I booked the hotel). The staff were great and as a result upgraded our room and offered us a free drink, yet would’ve been good to know before arriving. The hotel itself was slightly lacking atmosphere but we did spend a lot of time exploring Cirencester so didn’t utilise it a huge deal.

Property was decorated really nicely (sort of quirky rustic feel). Location was amazing, right in the centre of Cirencester and bedrooms were super! We had Sunday roast before we left which was INCREDIBLE and would highly recommend.

We should have been informed on arrival that there was an infestation of moths. My wife would not have unpacked her cashmere . Breakfast has deteriorated with a fruit platter of four slices of melon which was not replenished. Teaspoons seem to have gone missing at breakfast

If I was being super critical, I would say I didn't like the horrible view of the staff car park and 'dump' from the room (Bespoke 2) but I wasn't in the room for long and at least it was quiet at night. The lighting was ok, but better bedside lamps would make reading in bed easier. Ideally, I'd like breakfast to be included in the room price.

Great location in the centre of town, so all amenities are easily accessible. Lovely room with a very comfortable bed, a large bathroom, and a fridge with fresh milk.

No parking. Hotel should stamp a parking ticket or cover the cost of the parking for the stay. It was a pain having to run out and find a space and put money on a ticket. It was a worry for us to make sure we were not late having to top up parking ticket.

Very central. On a Main Street in the town but very quiet. We were spending a few days travelling around the Cotswolds so it was a great base for that. Lots of coffee shops and nice restaurants around.

Smell in the reception area was a little off-putting. There was a sewer/toilet smell around the reception area that was not very nice There were some very loud customers sitting at seats by the fire on Friday night who were not residents and very loud. Staff could have warned them about their noise more readily. It meant we had to move to the seats near the front door when we are hotel residents.
