Excellent location and accommodation was spacious and comfortable

We loved the location and the coziness of a lodge.

An issue with one of our party unable to have a bath due to tap not working.

The lodge was lovely, clean and spacious

Lighting on site and around the lodge was poor and as the check in was late the site was difficult to navigate

Clean comfortable well equipped lodge

Lighting in kitchen area wasn’t working and heating wasn’t either but host did send a plumber to sort boiler out. Window in bathroom was coming out of its frame. Cracked floor tiles in main bathroom and mould on grouting in corner of shower.

Nice spacious log cabin. Very well equipped Warm Absolutely massive television in the living area Washing machine and drier available plus dish washer. Various ovens and an air frier available. 2 bathrooms one ensuite. One large double bed the other bedrooms had 2 single beds in each. Good location and quiet.

Some beds too springy, but very hard to please everyone when it come to beds. Could do with a few maintenance issues dealing with. A couple of window handles broken or stiff which felt like they where going to break. The decking areas have various rotten panels and posts and need staining to protect from the Scottish weather.

Space, location, the largest tv and WiFi - a lovely welcome hamper and communication was excellent

Immaculate lodge. Very well presented with attention to detail. Home from home and in such gorgeous surroundings 🥰

Well equipped and very comfortable lodge. Great location, within easy walking distance of Kippford village, which has two decent pubs with beer gardens and a lovely tea room, all of which have magnificent views over the estuary.

Location good for walking into village

Toilet in main bedroom flush was poor. Tiles in en suite main bathroom could be regrouted. Television signal was intermittent. Could do with oven gloves

Easy to find and gain entry. Great location with lots of nice touches on arrival, such as thermostat set at just the right temperature and complimentary wine and biscuits. Nicely furnished and cleanliness to a five star hotel standard.

Weather was crap which is out with hosts control.

The lodge is in a beautiful, quiet location. The inside is very clean. It is well equipped with everything you need, and the beds are lovely and comfortable.

It had absolutely everything we needed. Location was brilliant, was peaceful - spacious and all communications really helpful.

Our single mattresses were really quite uncomfortable - could feel the springs coming through and would really benefit from replacing. But other than that… faultless.

The log cabin is pretty big, more than enough room for the 6 of us, the main bedroom has ensuite which was great for mum and dad, the other 2 bedrooms were twin beds and were a good size, served by a family bathroom, the living area was pretty generous with a good well equipped kitchen and nice dining area, Kippford it's self is a 10 minute walk

Not a lot really but a bit of maintenance is needed the guttering outside the front door was hanging off in a couple of places and pouring water onto the decking and steps making them green and very slippy and the toilet in the ensuite was very slow to fill, but I'm sure that will be sorted come the quieter months
