Quite far away from closest village, the oven doesn’t work properly, the toaster is on its last legs, the owner didn’t provide the key code. We had to ask for it at reception who were thankfully still open when we arrived.

Toaster didn't work although microwave also had built in grill, had to buy bog rolls as two for six people over three days insufficient! Telly in lounge a bit naff. Only tuned in to limited number of channels. No BBC, itv, etc. Wireless network intermittent and on last day TV had no aerial reception either! Not that we watched it much as it was middle of summer so out most of day but probably more annoying if you went say winter time ?!

Unfortunately the lounge wasn't open 2 days for food which we didn't realise.

We had our grandchildren with us. It was safe for them to play outside . The playpark and the woods were a great hit

The bathrooms were a bit musty and the flooring and the towel rail in the en-suite not great but not a problem to us.

A nice, quiet location with beautiful surroundings. It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Nice clean bedding and towels.

Restaurant closed Tues and Wed, we were only there Monday and Tues.had trouble finding anywhere to eat Tuesday night as all local pubs were shut.

Caravan park very well maintained, very peaceful.lodge very clean and comfortable.

TV did not work on BBC one & two. Far too warm at points, no instructions on heating. No instructions for anything, ie cooker, microwave. Oven timer flashing but couldn't fix & therefore use the cooker without instructions. Double bedroom door couldn't close because of the size of the bed. Blinds in living area broken & ineffective. Would have been an issue if anyone but our dog was sleeping in the living area. The owners free wi - fi would not connect but fortunately the site had wi - fi we could connect to for free.

Easy to find. Nice quiet site. Warm. Comfy double bed. Lots of storage, mirrors in each bedroom. Blind & curtains in double room good blackouts to sleep. Pet friendly. Good woodland walk right next to the lodge. Good parking next to the lodge.

Could do with a spruce up! Front side Blinds in lounge not great for privacy as many missing. Electricity should be checked at tripped 3 times on first night.

There were a few minor things in the lodge that need repairing but it did not affect our stay at all.

We love Springhouse, this was our 4th visit and second time in Labernum Lodge. The lodge has all the amenities you could need, including a washer/dryer, dishwasher and even lots of games. The location is perfect if you love the great outdoors. We got to see the stars so well due to so little light pollution, which was heaven. It's a lovely quiet and friendly site.

Lovely gated tranquil site. Lodge is spacious modern and comfortable. Nice walks easily accessible. Bar/ restaurant available on site also great play park for kids there is a wegym but didn't go in x

The only real issue was the glitchy TV as it rained quite a bit so at times there wasn’t much else we could do!

We enjoyed the serenity and that there was somewhere to eat on Saturday after we arrived

The neighbours opposite with a touring van who complained about our kids playing outside the lodge and the noise my car door made. No negatives about the property or place. Was disappointed there was no milk in the shop and when I asked if there would be some in the morning, they said no..it would be another week. So come very well stocked!

Quiet beautiful site. Perfect for kids. Lodge was clean and spacious. Absolute bonus having a washing machine and a dishwasher ..also amazing having a dog bed even though we brought one. Will definitely book again.

Went for a weekend in late January. On arriving there was no heating on. It took a long time for the place to warm through, even with the heating and the electric fire on. It would have been nice to walk into a warm lodge.

The forest walks right on the doorstep were great for the dog. Right behind the lodge and long forest roads deep into the forest.
