No way to secure patio windows when there was a breeze. In fear of them banging and breaking. Strategic placement of patio chairs solved problem.

The pressure in the shower was very low when someone else happened to be bathing at the same time in the other bathroom. On the last morning we were there, the cooler in the fridge had broken down overnight. There was some confusion over the recycling. The information booklet led us to think that it was our responsibility to recycle into the outside bins. However, the bins were not well marked as to what went into which bin! We brought some of our recycling home to be dispose of!

The apartment was very spacious and very well equipped. The views were fantastic and the beds comfortable. It was an easy walk down to the marina and within easy reach of a great range of restaurants.

There wasn't anything to dislike, although other visitors should be aware that the apartment is on the 2nd floor, so quite a few stairs but the view makes them worth it!

The location was stunning with gorgeous views over the River Dart, and the flat was much bigger than we expected. I travelled with a friend and with one huge bedroom with and ensuite, and another at the opposite end of the flat with own bathroom next door, it felt as if we both had our own areas, with large kitchen and comfy living room in the middle. We enjoyed having a glass of wine on the balcony overlooking the river in the evenings. Quiet road with own parking space. Hosts were ever so helpful - especially when we left a pair of sunglasses behind. Would defintely stay again.

A very minor criticism/observation but Mount Boone/Ridge Hill are currently undergoing major road works (until mid-July 2024) and part of the road is closed. It would have been nice if we had been forewarned that access to the property would be a tad awkward and to be given advice on the best way to access the property

The apartment is beautiful and the views over Dartmouth and Kingswear are superb. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit Dartmouth. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need for a self-catering stay. It is a five minute walk into the town although the hill is fairly steep (be warned!).

I didn't collect the e-mail message regarding the check out list / bins until I arrived home. A note in the black folder about the bins would have been helpful as I did check that the night before we left but it didn't mention what to do with the bins, so sorry I didn't empty them.....

Not an issue for us, but the metal steps up to the apartment could be a problem for a family with very young children or an older relative (as could the walk back from town!)

The apartment was lovely, light and airy and the views were stunning. More than ample space for our family of 4 and our dog couldn't have been made more welcome! We would definitely recommend and hope to return.

it’s a steep walk up from town if you’re not very mobile

we loved everything about the apartment. it was spacious, light and airy. It was close to town but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. parking was provided and it was dog friendly with a small orchard nearby to walk the dog. The views from the Lookout are spectacular and the balcony is a sun trap in the morning

The only point to mention is that the opening of the door to the property is slightly restricted by the fact that the door catches on the ceiling below the staircase but this had no effect on our enjoyment and in no way affects the overall quality and the 10/10 rating.

Self-catering with everything you could need, the only thing necessary was to buy your own food. Very well laid out property and in a first class location with private parking. The view of Dartmouth could not have been better.

Bedside lamps, in double bedroom, were reported to manager that they were too dim for bed time reading. They said they'll replace the bulbs with brighter ones. Shows how good this place is, that is my only comment!

The location was perfect for us: super quiet, easy (own) parking space, amazing views. You need to be prepared to walk up and down stairs and hills but the view is worth it! Handy communal orchard/woodland a few yards away - great for dog owners for early morning walk. Kitchen is well equipped, and even has sharp cutting knives (rare in self catering).
