One of the nicest private properties I have ever stayed in. The host had thought of everything to make for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Everything was spotless and generous supplies of locally produced teas and coffees provided. The host Dawn Lesley and her lovely dog Oscar could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. I’m looking forward to a return visit soon.

The bathroom is very snug.

Easy to find. Charming cottage with view of the garden, comfortable private outside sitting area. The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed, and with games, puzzles and books. Very clean. Lots of natural light via opening windows. Host was great.

Do door on bathroom only curtain . Owners dog was loose who came out & barked at us when coming & going , very friendly & we like dogs but may put some people off

Lovely well appointed studio with everything you need including extras like the private courtyard that was a real bonus. So much so that on both nights of our stay we opted to buy local from the lovely deli's and bakers and eat in the courtyard. Plenty of tea/coffee and other provisions left in the studio, plus you can park off road on the drive. If we come back to that area, which has lots to offer, we would stay here.

A wonderfully bright cosy stay. I was very happy waking up on my 30th birthday there and visiting Dunster castle just down the road. I would've happily stayed there for a few days. Dawn was a lovely cheery lady to meet, and it was nice to have a few strokes with Oscar before we headed off in the morning.

Clean, fresh and lovely! The host met us very briefly, alongside friendly doggo Oscar, to give the keys and to tell us the basics. We were very pleased with the stay. It's super clean, well equipped and a good location for exploring the local area. Whilst in the middle of a housing area, you wouldn't know once closing the curtains, and the hosts garden is beautiful!

Didn’t see the hedgehogs! Perhaps it was a bit cold! Absence of a stovetop & oven could be a problem for a longer stay but the microwave sufficed. Bathroom a bit compact but perfectly functional.

As the name suggests, it was a very cosy studio in a beautiful garden setting. Small but well equipped for our needs and central for our north Somerset exploration. Although close to host’s house we had complete privacy. Great for a couple of for a single traveller as felt very safe in the studio.

The studio was better than expected. On top of being adjacent to a pretty and well kept garden, where you can see the birds stealing strawberries, there is a private outdoor seating area with a small table have a morning coffee/tea. There is a particular attention to detail in this accommodation; every thing is labelled with instructions for use, there is a protocol for fire safety, an extensive guide on things to do in the area, board games were provided, there is a smart TV and even a HDMI cable is provided in case we wanted to project. Every little detail was greatly appreciated. The accommodation itself is located in a small town but is not very far from the coast and other very scenic points in the area. For the price you pay, it is an absolute steal.

We had such a wonderful time staying at the garden lodge, Dawn is an absolute brilliant host, the perfect combination of helpful and welcoming and not at all intrusive, we felt so welcome and completely at ease. Dawn has thought of everything you could need and the little extras are amazing. Would absolutely recommend for a couple of solo break, thank you!

Clean, light, comfy bed, close to all local amenities and a great base for exploring Somerset. Daisy was very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Everything was perfect for a short stay , the owner has worked hard to make it a comfortable stay, cosy with views of a well maintained garden, if we need to visit the area again we would return.
