the friendness of the staff: we were arriving late in the evening, the staff quickly found a solution for us to get the keys. it was efficient, considerate and friendly. the overall environment of the hostel: clean with all the facilities you might need, bar and restaurant, supermarket nearby.

The bunk house is very clean and comfortable with excellent facilities and friendly staff. I highly recommend it if you’re hiking/cycling in the area.

Super fun family stay in a bunk room. The little stream at the back garden coupled with wooden benches was a perfect set up for an impromptu family picnic.

The location was a bit isolated and getting to inverness was a total pain with the busses.

Rooms were very clean with a shared bathroom in each room. The kitchen area was nice and a grocery store near by, which made it easy to eat on a budget.

We stayed in the bunker. My daughter loved the family room with a bunk bed. The sleeping bag experience provided a laugh. The shared kitchen was very good, with everything you could imagine. Walking around the area, we even saw a deer. Great location. We also tried the restaurant and really liked it.

Great location and accommodation was clean, kitchen was very clean and looked well equipped and they had a beautiful garden to the back of the bunk inn which had this amazing stream that the kids could go right down too.

The floorboards were particularly noisy in our family room one would image people below would be disturbed. Making our own beds. Would be nice if there was a little welcome bottle of water etc

The bunk beds were a bit short and the floor was a creaking which meant anyone moving in the room was making noise.

Well situated for various hikes and sightseeing opportunities not unfair from various shops. There is a gorgeous outdoors spot by the river next to the kitchen. Very friendly and proactive staff double posting both the venues restaurant as well as registration.

The person under the bunk beds should be careful not to hit their head when preparing the bedding...

Kitchen is wide and clean. The view from room and kitchen was also perfect because it was really nice. I can feel countryside. Shower room and bathroom are also clean and these are separate so it is very useful. I stayed the room for four but in actual there were two. So I didn’t need to struggle with bathroom using time with roommate. I also use the breakfast service. It was £14. I could choice the Highland breakfast. I felt it was a little bit expensive but the amount of breakfast was satisfying. The location is also good. It is the center between town center and castle so I could walk for both side. There are convenience store near this hostel so I could get food easily.

This hostel is new and is perfectly located with excellent facilities, the bar and restaurant are also very good I would recommend this to anyone for a short stay

I was alone :) Everything is new. There are a modern kitchen and rooms.

The only downside was the creaky floor — when someone got up to use the toilet at night, everyone else would wake up. But that’s a minor issue. Everything else was wonderful.

A comfortable, bright room. Excellent mattresses. Good plumbing!
