Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI was there for 3 weeks and despite several attempts to get my room changed I eventually had to change the sheets myself. Not really set up for 24 hours running which is poor for a hotel. I can’t be the only person on night shift to have stayed there. The black sheep next door to the lodge would be really handy if it kept good hours. The latest it stayed open was 7 in the evening and I only saw that once. More usually shut before 5. Also the prices for food were extortionate. I wouldn’t have ate there if I hadn’t been on expenses.
Nice room. Quiet usually which was good as I was on nights.

United KingdomThe reception staff told me breakfast started at 8.00 when in fact it was 7.00 on a weekday, but it was an honest mistake.
Quiet location, pleasant leafy surroundings. The breakfast was very nice. The room was large and comfortable. There was a good bus service two minutes away.

LuxembourgI know it is in small print about what happens after hours (and I arrived at 21h) but checking in was a trial at least until one found out to go to Aztec reception. Keycard programmed for one night and not two. There also needs to be the big notice about where to go (Aztec) for later checking in right next to the main entry doors to the Lodge. This contributed to confusion at check out as well.
Room was good - shower controls excellent. Parking practical especially at weekend. Breakfast may be a bit limited but the arrangements worked.

DenmarkNIce annexed hotel serviced by the hotel across the street for the check-in. Really nice, cosy and clean room. The bathroom was nice as well. I didn't sign up for breakfast but had it in the connected dinner next door as many others. The parking was perfect just outside the hotel entrance. The area was really quiet.

United KingdomThere were no staff on site and no one answered the telephone when we tried to ask for help with an issue. All queries had to be directed through the hotel over the road which is a bit difficult late at night!
The location was good and the parking was plentiful.

United KingdomThe small side light on the bedside lights only works when the bed side light is on This seems utterly pointless . The room doors slam shut and it's not possible to close them quietly. The shower was lovely but made the the bathroom floor so wet it was a struggle to stop the water making the bedroom carpet from getting soaked.
Tha breakfast at The Black Sheep was nice but a bit pricey though not as expensive as the other side.

United KingdomWe didn't book the breakfast before arrival and we were not advised on booking in about breakfast or food facilities available during our stay as we were staying in the lodge, in the morning, we found out at the hotel reception that breakfast for us was in the black sheep, on going there, we were told by a member of staff she wouldn't be long, ten mins later, she said that breakfast options available were only breakfast baps (but didn't know how many left) or pastries (it was only 9.00am), we decided to go else were.
Location great, room had everything we needed,

Falkland Islands (Malvinas)Reception was busy and it was a 20 minute wait to check in but staff were doing their best and refreshments were offered to those waiting.
Staff were all very polite and helpful, particularly Georgia. After a wait for reception our keycard didn't work but Georgia went out of her way to look after us until we got the card sorted after something to eat. Food in the bar was great. We would happily go back again.
