The location was good, close to the tube station and to Regents Park. The room was large and comfortable, the television was nice as well.

During a heatwave, the AC was struggling and the room was warm even when we put the AC on the max setting. It was fine though in the days after, when max temperatures dropped below 30.

Friendly, welcoming staff and we were able to check in early at no extra cost . The family room was spacious. Modern and clean 5 minute walk to the tube (use Swiss Cottage not Regent’s Park ;))

The breakfast was varied and good value. The hotel location was fantastic with lots of local restaurants and walking distance to the underground station.

the room size could have been bigger.

We chose this hotel as a family of 3 attending Wembley for a concert and to also spend time in central London. The location was just perfect with Swiss Cottage Tube (jubilee line) being a short walk away. Day one we darted into Covent Garden, Day 2 Oxford /Regent St area then Wembley in the afternoon. Day 3 a short walk to Primrose Hill and Regent’s Park then to Paddington to catch our train. The hotel itself was very nice indeed, nicer than I was expecting, the staff were very friendly and attentive, the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Nice toiletries too!

There was nothing we didn’t like.

    Our old stomping ground

Swimming pool still has private lessons everyday 9-2. The private lessons for two kids take away 1/3 of a tiny pool. This has been the case for many years and I never understand why - my kids learned at the minimal opposite??

Room was very nice, clean etc as to be expected of a major hotel chain. We had a late departure and they kept our baggage for free which was nice. Liked the decor also in the room and lobby area.

Air con was very loud! Brasserie food was nice but pricey for what it was. Bit of a walk to things like cafes - felt like it was in more of a residential area.

Breakfast was good, plenty of choices, although the ready cooked options werent the best, customers could order egg items cook fresh. Staff were all very helpful, and professional. Good space in the room

Not much from our experience this time, except maybe a little travelling information available in the room, or near the reception, as there seem to be alot of family staying for holidays

Our stay at the London Marriott Hotel Regents Park was marked by exceptional service and cleanliness. The staff at reception were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always eager to help with a personal and caring approach. The hotel’s location is a major advantage - just a 5-minute walk from the Jubilee (Gray) Line, which connects quickly to central London and intersects with other key Underground lines. The surrounding neighborhood is charming, with a kiosk and a variety of restaurants and a food market within a 15-minute walk. A nearby park offering panoramic views of the city added a special touch to our visit. The hotel pool, open all day, was a great way to start or unwind after a busy day. Most impressively, the staff consistently went above and beyond to resolve any issues, even offering compensation when solutions weren’t possible. Their dedication left us with a very positive impression and a genuine desire to return in the future.

Despite the excellent service, several aspects of the hotel’s facilities detracted from our comfort. The ground-floor restaurant focuses on seafood, which creates a strong fish odor that permeates the lobby - unpleasant for those who aren’t fans of fish. As I was traveling for work, I hoped for a quiet workspace, but aside from the lobby (which had both the odor and mosquitoes), there was no suitable area to work. Our room had a shower rather than a bathtub, which was excellent, but the shower and toilet showed yellowing, suggesting a lack of proper cleaning products. We were offered to switch rooms multiple times due to weak air conditioning, which the hotel attributed to a heatwave, though it seemed more likely due to outdated and dirty systems. The replacement rooms and provided fans didn’t resolve the issue. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was unreliable, possibly due to our room’s location, and only after contacting reception were we given access to an alternative network. These facility shortcomings impacted our overall experience, though the staff’s efforts to assist were truly commendable.

The shower in my room was a hazard. It was really high because of the tub, but other than that it was nice.
