United Kingdoma deposit of £50 was imposed at check in time... my son had to pay that deposit when I sent him to check in ... we were too busy to even come to sleep in the hotel as we had a deadline to evacuate the home we had just sold... so we worked throughout the night... the next evening when we went to ask for the deposit refund the staff refused to give it back saying that it could only be issued during the morning at check out time! This was a blow because it meant that we had to travel the next morning back to the hotel for the refund when we had already left the town!

United KingdomThe bed was not very comfy, one of the latches on the window was broken so I could not close it, The blinds only covered half of the window. Some of the electrics in my opinion are not very safe or not working at all. I booked a twin room but got a double bed so We had to share the bed. Nothing they could do as they were fully booked. As this was a self checking in hotel they sent the wrong codes so if we had not seen the manger beforehand we would have not been able to access the room or the building. Overall it did for one night I would not stay more than one night.
The location was perfect, the staff very nice friendly and helpful. The reception area was very nice and clean and very inviting. Parking was ok after a bit of car shuffling four small spaces access to said parking was across a pedestrian crossing and a blind corner.

United KingdomCompared to other OYO hotels (we booked after good experiences at other branches) it is very basic, and some of what could charitably be described as the 'longer term' residents are certainly an acquired taste. It is also quite loud on a night. The Baltimore OYO over the road would probably be a better option if there is availability and you don't mind spending a bit more.
The location was handy. We had to extend our in the area at short notice and it was convenient for getting back the next day. The breakfast also wasn't too bad.

United KingdomHard nights sleep because of music of nearby venues. Broken blinds in my room and the constant outside light made it difficult to rest. Tv didn't work either, but not a massive issue. Also room didn't feel secure, place a bit rundown. Door would've opened with a slight boot and windows were very 60s and would be easy to open from the outside, so had to constantly take all valuables with me. I would also add that I only saw single males stay here, I know families and women can feel uncomfortable in this situation. Enjoyed my stay but would probably look elsewhere next time.
Staff were brilliant, really helpful and friendly. Location not too bad. 15/20 minutes to centre and buses via a straight forward walk, although plenty of local buses. Also museum and a lovely park 10 minutes away too. Lovely pizza and general takeaway opposite. Breakfast was lovely.

United KingdomThe trek to the train station was a bit way off. Positive side is I am doing some exercise for the day.
Staff are very helpful. Location was a bit of a trek, to get to the train station. If you don't mind the bus, it's just outside the pub. I am much more comfortable on the tube than the local buses. Luckily, I have googled map, so I don't get lost much. Overall, even with the noise about 02:00 one night and people can't use the bins in the toilet/shower rooms, I enjoyed my short London experience. Thank you.
