Nothing, ended up sleeping in the van

having some refurbishment so health and safety issues but the rooms we were in, shower did not work, curtains hanging off the rail, mouldy walls. Would not stay again

The breakfast was decent for its value and the bathroom had been updated

We were told when we arrived that we were in a separate annex - an old house around the corner that was quite dingy. The bed was pretty uncomfortable. However it was clean

Very nice town, excellent bakery across the street and beautiful surroundings. The hotel building is also lovely and properly conserved.

The staff is lifeless or they are all trainees. The bathroom is uncomfortable, it does not justify the room price.

Twin beds for family

Well located not far from Inverness and on main roads. Room was comfortable enough but tired looking. A fair price I suppose given that rooms in Inverness are at a premium at this time of year. Breakfast was good.

Parking not so easy. Bathroom light didn’t work and couldn’t be replaced. In fairness the staff gave us a refund for breakfast because of the inconvenience.

Everything was great,the hotel staff is friendly ,helpful and kind.

Near Inverness

We were not in the hotel but in an annexe, really an old house next to the hotel.

My friends key would not open his room and the manager was demanding he slept on my bedroom floor as he couldn’t sort the problem very unprofessional

Booked a disabled room double boooked they blamed booking dot com. Bath in room with shower as we were going to a wedding had to help my wife she has Ms no handrails carpet in the room wet,curtains falling down, door sticking room not cleaned the next day and room had musty smell thankfully we had a great time at the wedding.

The style, the looks, the restaurant and the bar.

We had a feeling the hotel was a little understaffed.

Great staff and patrons the food here was sooo delicious would stay again and again , we were welcomed by locals and had the best experience in this beautiful little town 😍

The outside of the hotel looks inviting and the entrance looks nice

The staff are impolite and one appeared to be under the influence but not alcohol. Farting around making sniffing noises and chatting at 100mph with the receptionist. The heating in the room did not work. Each time we flushed the toilet, it took a gull 15 minutes before it could be flushed again. We went to the restaurant for our evening meal at 7:45 and were told to hurry as the kitchen is closing (Friday evening) The 5 menu options were not suitable for a family and hugely overpriced. The room was draughty, cold and looked more like a DSS hostel than a hotel room. The whole place smelled like a Chinese takeaway which was confusing as there were no Chinese items on the menu. We paid in advance for breakfast but left before and were not given a refund or even the courtesy of a goodbye. Will never book here again. Really disappointing

Location was good for what I needed.

Hotel extremely dated, staff disinterested, very poor value for money. Paid for breakfast and advised it began at 7.30. Turned up at 7.30 only to find what seemed to be a coach party of around 50 people already seated. I was travelling for work, and had no time to navigate these huge queues.

Wonderful atmosphere in the hotel with the family history and the very lovely decorations and family colors and ars. Great rooms with touch of royalty.
