Our stay at Lovedays Cottage in Painswick was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the cottage’s character, charm, and attention to detail. Nestled in the heart of the village, the location is ideal—peaceful yet just a short walk from the local shops, pubs, park and the beautiful St. Mary’s churchyard with its iconic yew trees. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully decorated. It strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort, with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and every corner of the cottage feels warm and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic and cozy Cotswolds experience. We can’t wait to return. ❤️

Washing machine had a mind of its own and did not always finish the program directly.

Beautiful location and very charming home. The interior was modern and got everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. Host provided all the information needed for the stay and the Cotswolds.

No parking. The doorway was virtually blocked, the whole time, by two cars parked bumper to bumper and leaving virually no gap between them and the house, making it particularly difficult to bring in a pushchair and cases. There was little storage space for dry food, this was not important for us because of the short length of our stay, but it might have been for a longer stay.

A lovely old cottage, with period features. I particularly liked features, which indicated that the cottage had been inhabited for a vast number of years.

I actually spoke with the owner about revising the "List of rules" it sounds a bit school mistressy but once you are there its not like that at all.

Parking space outside was limited - thought there was more of a driveway to park one car but there was more of a free for all - and somebody else had taken the spaces…..

Very nicely decorated - plenty of room and space and lovely garden - great location.

The location was idyllic, the accommodation was perfect for our needs, a shop nearby and coffee shops and pubs in the village. Electric charging in the nearby car park. All perfect.

Stunning property in a gorgeous village. Close to some lovely pubs serving great food and lovely service. The rococo garden is a lovely spot and a 20 min walk away. Rebecca was so helpful too!

Not enough room for 6 of us to sit together in either of the reception rooms snd we had to eat in the kitchen as the dining table was too small The third double bed is very small .

It well and truly met out expectations and more . Not one but two Christmas trees were brightly lit up for us . The cupboard was very well stocked with everything we need ed for cooking . The Location was wonderful and we enjoyed some great local restaurants. The walks were great too and an amazing grave yard was a bonus . Highly recomend.

Parking is challenging especially with a big car but this is because the village is quaint so few wide roads. it was free but have to bear it in mind. there are 2 lounges. if there were 6 of you , I'm not sure you would all fit in one lounge. take wood!

very pretty cottage in pretty town. Close to amenities but very quiet. beautifully furnished. well equipped. warm and comfortable Lovely area. lots of walks. buses very useful. pub was great as was pizza van.

Painswick is a magic place and Lovedays Cottage was idyllic. It was lovely to have milk bread and eggs waiting for us on our arrival. We had everything that we needed. Also the instructions as to where to park was very useful as Painswick isn't the easiest place to park.
