We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Good location, close to bus and tube stops just over a five-minute, the local shops were good, excellent chippy on the corner of the road! Lloyd was a very friendly host who was very communicative and readily available. Price was very reasonable indeed, would definitely consider staying here again.

I had a great time at Lloyd’s place. He is a pleasant and helpful host! The room and all the facilities were very nice (just one bathroom, but no problem) and as described, with nice decoration and clean. It was nice to be able to cook in the kitchen (many places don’t allow this). Also, I could relax and work privately in a fun loft space. The apartment is also in a nice area with lots of cafes and restaurants.

United KingdomIt was a pleasure to stay at Lloyd's ‘lovely place’. A big thank you to him for being very helpful and friendly and for giving me some good recommendations to eat in the local area. The room, bathroom and kitchen were very clean and well maintained - I didn’t see much of the rest of the place. While the room wasn’t huge, it was enough for one person and cosy and quiet. I slept very well. The local area is quiet and feels safe, and is unsurprisingly green as the park is a two minute walk away. The area has great transport links to central London. It also has some great places to eat. It was a relaxing stay, and I plan to stay with Lloyd next time I am in London.

United KingdomStay away at all costs—you couldn’t pay me to relive this nightmare. I’ve never experienced anything like this in all my years of travel. The listing was a complete misrepresentation of the actual place—it was cramped, dirty, and did not resemble the photos at all. The worst part wasn’t even the poor condition of the property. The host’s behavior was absolutely terrifying. He was loud, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. He slammed doors throughout the house in fits of rage, yelled at me, and made me feel extremely unsafe. I genuinely feared for my safety during my stay. The host screamed at me so aggressively that I was left in complete shock. This is NOT what I paid for, and it was humiliating. His disruptive behavior escalated further when he had guests over, causing chaos and noise throughout the property, making it impossible to relax or feel comfortable. The final straw was when he slammed a door in my face after yelling at me-this was beyond anything I could have imagined. I felt trapped, too afraid to leave my room for fear of what might happen next. In a panic, I had to gather my things and flee as fast as I could. Everything about this experience was horrifying. The host was beyond unprofessional—he was terrifying. I felt completely unsafe and trapped in the room, unsure of what he might do next. The place itself was disgusting—dirty linens, faded bedding, and overall unsanitary conditions. And if you think Booking.com will help you? Think again. Their customer service is an absolute joke—unprofessional, unresponsive, and completely useless. I reported this issue multiple times, and after weeks of waiting, I received NOTHING but empty apologies. If something happens to you, don’t expect them to help. This wasn’t my first time using Booking.com, but after this experience, it will DEFINITELY be my last. Not recomemded. I felt victimized and utterly disrespected during my stay, and Booking.com’s lack of support only made the situation worse. 😡
There was almost nothing to like about this stay. The listing was a complete misrepresentation. The property was dirty, cramped, and far from the "comfortable" environment it was advertised to be. The photos on the listing were misleading, making the place look far more spacious and clean than it actually was. There was constant noise from the host and his guests, making it impossible to have any peace. Even basic expectations, like cleanliness and privacy, were completely ignored.

Regardless that it is a private apartment the place needs better hygiene standards. Not being picky but there is lot of dusting and cleaning to be done to bring the place to acceptable standards for welcoming guests.
The location is great as it is close to metro and with great access to other parts of the city. Lloyd was very welcoming and helpful. The noise from the train which other people complained about was not a problem as it wasnt that loud after all.
