Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PolandFirst, booking doesn't mention it, but there is a third, single room. I've booked double, much bigger room and got tiny single room. I didn't mind it that much, but still shame it's not mentioned. Another thing is bathroom. Now it states, that it's shared bathroom. I was booking way in advance, and I'm almost sure it said it's a private bathroom. Even on the app in room details under my reservation I can see, that it's 'private bathroom', probably something changed in the meantime. It wouldn't be that big of a deal, but the property is not adapted for accommodating 3 rooms, unfortunately. You use the restroom, and can't even wash your hands if the bathroom is occupied. Shower is terrible, pressure is no existent, and you can't properly set temperature of the water. It's either cold-ish or super hot. Last thing, there's no lock for the rooms. It's not that I don't trust people, but at least a simple lock would be appreciated to feel a bit more comfy.
Super friendly stuff, excellent location if you are coming for some event at Wembley and cheap.

United KingdomThe site, and booking confirmation specifically stated that I had (as I requested) 'my own bathroom, but shared toilet'. Given this, I didn't pack a dressing gown and I could 'cope' with the shared toilet. In reality, the only bathroom was the shared family one. I did check my booking form again - I hadn't made a mistake. The water cylinder for the house hot water system was in my bedroom, so the room was unbearably hot: even with the windows open. There was a fan; however, it had to be on the bedside table to gain any benefit (it was too noisy to have on 'high power' across the room). This impacted on sleep. The kettle was too large to obtain water from the bathroom basin tap without creating a mess. Luckily, I had a bottle of water with me. I had expected a TV in the room - there wasn't one. There were stains on the net curtain, bedroom mat and bedroom soft chair. Also, the bath mat and toilet mat too. The upstairs carpet needed a really good hoover. The towel, although I could feel that it was washed, had aged stains on it. Having been a 'landlady' myself, I like to support small businesses and their friendly/homeliness. This didn't 'measure up'.

United KingdomThe smell downstairs was absolutely awful! Not a very good welcome. The room didn’t smell but if you needed to go to the bathroom and went out it was horrid and would come into the room. There was no lock on the bedroom door. Bed was absolutely rock solid and we weren’t 100% if it was fresh bedding. We came to London to go to a convert thinking we’d need to stay the night, the convert finished early enough to drive home so we chose to not even stay the night. Wasn’t an awful place but given the choice I think anyone would rather not stay.
Decent ish location, two spaces outside the front of the house to park, room was a decent size and was clean, there were also crisps, sweets and some tea/coffee stuff.
