Very charming little hotel in a pretty location. Staff was very helpful when we arrived with a car sick child! This was a very authentic experience, check in was at the restaurant bar and the same friendly faces are helping you to your room and serving dinner. And dinner was delicious. My family really appreciated the experience, not like checking it at some generic hotel.

A delightfully historic country hotel. Nice hosts & food was good.

The owner was welcoming and once he realised I was leaving ( in the car) did check I was ok.

Property is miles out of Killin and not a road you could walk along into Killin. The hotel is very tired and although obviously some maintenance is being carried out (pots of paint in hallway) it needs an overhaul. The toilet in first room was so close to wall difficult to use and seat needs to be replaced. Television didn’t work and I ask to be moved. Second room better bathroom but very basic bed and the pillows were totally flat - they were done. Ironically I couldn’t switch the TV off ( on radio station - signal comes and goes) using remote, so left on all night. I would have accepted for a lower price but at £85 I was expecting a higher standard.

Nice, remote location with beautiful views around. Very friendly staff. Room was simple but that was all we needed. I loved the house itself with its funky hallways and gorgeous exterior.

There was a bit of noise from the road.

Quaint lodging, very well kept, with breathtaking views. The owners were amazing (they let us check in at a late hour) and gave us tips about the next steps on our journey. If you plan on staying in the area, choose this place for the experience

It's an old lodging, but very well kept

A gorgeous, authentic highlands inn, with great hosts and a stunning location. John and Chuck will make sure all your needs are met and that you’re endlessly entertained. If I don’t find myself back there I either died early or made a big mistake.

Such a lovely place, and the hosts were incredibly friendly!

Its 18th century building history makes it a special place. Also if your a lager drinker it must have one of the best pints of Tennent's I have tasted. Food great also.

The location was ideal we it beautiful views.

The breakfast consisted of either toast or a breakfast roll, to me that was minimal effort. The cleanliness in some areas was a little remiss.

Perfect for my needs. Hiking and fishing nearby. Friendly and comfy.. Room suited me just fine.

The sheets on the bed were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Tired and worn furnishings and decor in the room, a broken bed frame, shower door didn’t close properly, toilet seat needed renewing, no tv signal, no wi fi. Small cramped room and bathroom, Traffic noise caused loss of sleep throughout the night. Evening meal was just average so declined breakfast.

The location out the back may have been a lovely area but we had no time to explore.

There was no decent breakfast available so we opted out. It was mediocre and dated. Staff not particularly friendly.

We chose a simple toast and tea breakfast. We were offered seconds which was appreciated. I had fish for dinner. It was excellent
