It’s a fantastic home, some might say it’s has a Dr Who Tardis like caricature, outstanding comfortable beds, spotless cleanliness, and everything you need to make a roast dinner, thankyou so much for a wonderful last night of our own NC500 road trip .

A lack of contact from the host, I realise this is personal preference but I do like a bit of human contact. It was self check in and self check out. Maybe we would have seen someone if we were there a bit longer. It was also the hottest room we have stayed in. Very very warm. A fan was supplied though. There was noise from the road but we were supplied with earplugs and the house is on a bend of a 60mph road so getting out was a bit hairy the next morning.

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast on the little trays was a lovely touch and the view from the window was beautiful.

Nothing. We only wished we could have stayed longer. Booked it for an overnight break on a long journey but would have loved to have explored the area.

Lovely location. Absolutely magic on arrival with the welcoming arrangement in the room. Breakfast set up really well thought out and appreciated. Beds very comfortable and everything was immaculately done.

The property is situated close to a busy road and there is a little bit of road noise. There is good parking on the other side of the road in a lay-by so you do not have to pull out onto quite a busy bend. Having said that, the position is just stunning and the view looks like a photographers masterpiece.

This is a tiny gem of a property with a huge and beautiful view. It was spotlessly clean and well presented with some wonderful little extras. There is a tray of substantial continental breakfast items with a well-stocked fridge and loads of fresh fruit. Our dogs loved the special dog treats and the poo-bags were a really thoughtful extra. The bed is very comfortable and there are good light-blocking blinds. Very much needed at this time of year at this latitude. The bathroom was also beautifully presented and the shower was really powerful. It is a perfect stop-over in a lovely area with lots to do and see.

We liked staying here very much. Minor issues- The midges who joined us for breakfast us on the terrace. And it took a bit of time to find right property and the key on arrival, despite the instructions. A number at street level would be helpful. As stated, minor issues to what was a very nice stay.

View out over the Loch was lovely. Very clean place, and nice fruit and snacks on hand.

Beautiful place to stay with a beautiful view from the large window of the lake. Beautiful and clean accommodation. Just be aware that there is no kitchen or kitchenette to prepare snacks. The road below the accommodation is quite busy and audible during the day, but the traffic calmed down overnight.

Nice clean cottage, very good continental breakfast, on a busy road but it quietens down at night. The view from the main window up the loch was gorgeous, like a picture painting. We enjoyed our stay.

It didn’t really suit our needs which was not a reflection on the property. Make sure to read the description as it is very small with limited storage and really suitable for a young family or a couple. Beware of the lay by, it is midge central and you will be bitten!!

Location have great views, beautifully presented

The double bed was a bit uncomfortable and made a noise every time my husband moved, it was a bit small for him but he’s 6 ft 4. I really didn’t like being on such a busy road and wish I had known about it when booking, maybe I missed that. I’m such a light sleeper too so all I could hear was road noise.

Stunning view! Lovely and clean, nice choice of food for breakfast. Hosts were very helpful before our stay in advising where we could eat when I contacted them.

The noise at night from the road. Though it's double glazed you can hear the cars a lot. If you mind noise at night, don't go. Even with earplugs I was awoken by cars. Matress is no good, very firm.

The view from the main bedroom. The breakfast was quite plentifull though wrapped. If you don't mind noise from outside and a hard matress, it's really nice.
