Everything! We loved our stay in this lovely English home! Beds were comfortable, bathrooms great and the unit had all the necessities. We felt like true locals. Close walk to station and in the vicinity of great restaurants, green grocer & Sainsbury’s. Lovely quiet neighbourhood and very safe.

In the kitchen we really missed a coffee maker because we all like coffee and since it was a holiday it was difficult to find a restaurant to buy coffees ready for breakfast and maybe 2 chairs more will be nice.

In general, it was good, the communication was good, although we did not meet them there was no problem. The house is clean and big enough with three floors to feel comfortable.

First day no WiFi and couldn’t use top room as no covering for the velum window. We noticed same issues in review 9/23. All blinds let in a lot of light and made worse with frequent security light going on with people next door. Plastic bag fitted by cleaner over the velum but fell down on the night. We fixed ourselves. Top bathroom shower fitting broken and upstairs a bit tired. Living area nice but only breakfast bar to eat at. Overall ok.

We would have considered staying again as we are likely to need a base to visit my mother now. The mattress in the top bedroom was a bit hard. But our main (perhaps only real negative) was that the hot water suddenly stopped working both days we were there, despite being a party of 4 when the house sleeps 7. The first time was when my son was about to get in the shower and the second, my youngest was mid shower. The hosts were very quick to respond and fix the problem but I think it has happened before and wouldn’t want to rebook a property again with the prospect of this happening. It is a shame as generally it is a good house!

We liked the house. It was overall very clean, although a dirty tray had been left in the oven. Generally very happy - well located to the shops. The purpose of our visit was to visit my mother and well located for that.

The high stools in the dining area were a little squeaky, might be a good idea to get those fixed. Would also be good to have a separate tumbler as the weather wasn't v good during our stay and the clothes couldn't dry easily with just the washing machine. Bit everything else was good.

The location was convenient and safe, about 10m drive from Kingston town. There is a local Sainsbury if you need to pop down the street to get the basic necessities，as well as some restaurants on the high street. A bigger Sainsbury is also about 5 mins drive away. The owners were friendly and responsive.

Perhaps a comfortable chair or two in the living area could have made it a little cosier.

Lots of room. Convenient to trains and walking trails. Well stocked with toiletries, snacks, and teas. Well stocked kitchen to be able to cook. Easy to check in. Hosts were accommodating. It was nice to have an outside private patio. Our family of 5 felt right at home and enjoyed our stay.

The hot water stopped giving heat and we were unable to get it back so I had to leave without having a shower. There was also no contact number for such an emergency which would have helped. The master bedroom was at the top of the building which meant we were furthest away from the front door. The cooking utensils need to be changed as they were unsuitable to cook with as they continually stuck and burnt food as the nonstick pan had lost its coating.

The house was decorated well and my partner loved the bed, saying it was very comfortable. Close to local shops The kitchen diner was well placed and could seat 6 easily. Had a nice high chair for younger children Garden Corner was a nice escape with a drink after the grandchildren had gone to sleep Nice distance from world of Chessington

Was very tired. Was once nice but was dirty. And past its best. Was no longer luxury. The top for windows above the bed had a huge crack on the glass. The top bedroom was a storage for old TVs and other things. There furniture was stained. The bed sheets were three different colours of white. Etc.. This was supposed to be a treat for our friends as the pictures look great. However it turned out to be an embarrassment.

Nice place. Clean and tons of room. Great location. Bus stop nearby. Don’t be afraid to use the bus system, it is fantastic. Kingston Upon Thames is a 15ish minute bus ride away and is a must go to.

Perfect location - 12 minutes walk to station, 2 minutes to supermarket but on a quiet street parallel to one with restaurants, buses etc
