Although the flat was very clean there was a nasty drain smell in the bathroom. I believe that someone attended to resolve the issue but the smell was still present when we left. Not a serious issue.

The temperature was set in the 20s! We couldn’t get the thermostat turned down and were up on and off as it was much too hot to sleep.

Lovely, modern apartment, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Was in a great location in the heart of the docks area so within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to do. A group of four ladies, we had a fabulous catch up, highly recommended!

I am responding to your request for feedback on our recent stay at your serviced apartment in Gloucester docks. Firstly, the location was perfect for exploring both the dockland area and the wider city and we did not need to use the car at all. The instructions for access and entry to the property, although rather complicated, were clear and we had no difficulties. The apartment was well presented and as described although we found it rather functional in appearance rather than homely, but that is understandable given the location and the market we assumed you are targetting. We have a few comments that might make the property function a little better that you may like to consider - the lack of hooks for hanging clothes was a problem - especially in the shower room where there is nowhere to put clothes while showering, but also in the bedrooms where some hocks over the doors would be useful - the wall units and plastic plants generally really do not add anything to the property - the wall unit in the second bedroom is an accident waiting to happen for anybody who needs to access the far side of the bed or when getting to the window - it is too low and intrudes into the circulation space too much. I hope you find these comments helpful but they are minor criticisms and if we need to visit the area again I will certainly consider staying in one of your properties.

Location was perfect for the city centre and quay's, very well presented/clean, quite and would recommend. Initially struggled to find the keys but that was my fault for not reading instructions properly :-) I did contact the named contact who was very helpful and understanding.

Despite all the positives, we had a very unpleasant experience. On the second evening, we realised that the flat door had locked and we could no longer get out of the flat. It was like being in a prison cell. Fortunately, the landlady could be contacted quickly and she soon came to free us from this situation. I can't accept that we as tenants would have made any mistake. No door lock must be designed in such a way that it can no longer be opened from the inside. What about in an emergency when you are locked in?

We really liked this flat in a great and quiet location near the docks. Locked car park directly under the flat. The key handover via code and keybox worked well. Nice places for breakfast and during the day in the neighbourhood of the docks.
