Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomResort could be spruced up by having apartments/villas with better / smarter modern decoration as per other Macdonalds resorts and better site maintenance. Unsafe pavements not speedly repaired Villas with leaking guttering Villas with cracked and missing rendering Indoor swimming pool heating not always working Swimming pool tiles missing IMO making the pool unsafe to use. A regular villa cleaning and bed change schedule for longer stays - we stayed for 4 weeks and had to request a weekly cleaning visit.
Super Location Good Facilities for children Value for money Gardens well maintained

United KingdomThe area for improvement would be updating the furnishings, flooring/carpets and refreshing the overall look and feel of the apartment.
It’s a beautiful location close to both the beach and the mountains. The resort offers great on-site facilities, and having an Indian restaurant was a wonderful bonus, the food and service were excellent.

United KingdomThe accommodation and resort is fantastic, but is starting to look a little tired. Unfortunately, on the day we were leaving, a fire alarm went off in our part of the resort at 05:30 and there was no-one from the resort available either in the reception nor on the 'emergency contact number'. After a few attempts to contact the resort staff, the fire brigade were called who attended in 35 minutes (impressive on Welsh roads!) and checked out the building to confirm it was a false alarm. There was one apartment they couldn't get into so they asked the guests if everyone was accounted for - we could only vouch for our own groups though. The resort staff found out when they turned up to work at 07:00 and the fire engines were still there. A night-porter or more robust emergency telephone number is required because if this had been a genuine emergency - the guests don't know how many people are in each accommodation. On the bright side the Welsh fire brigade were ace and thankfully it wasn't cold and raining so standing outside wasn't a problem in our case. The resort staff could also possibly open up the reception area for people to shelter if need be too.
What an absolutely beautiful location - in the middle of nowhere - which was what we wanted, but beware though shopping and eating out options are VERY limited, so plan ahead. The restaurant/takeaway on site is very good, but a little expensive - especially for drinks, but a godsend if you don't want to cook.Raj and the team are so nice though. The resort has loads of great facilities you could quite happily stay on site rather than go elsewhere. - although you will miss many amazing things to do. We were so impressed with our apartment, it had 3 bathrooms and one of them even had a sauna in it! The staff were very helpful and friendly there was just one mishap during our stay and they were extremely apologetic and offered for us to speak to the manager (which we didn't feel we needed to.)

United KingdomAdequately lighted all night . Onsite caretaker for need and security . As the resort is very far from the city there could be a 24 hour facility for food with the restaurant supplying three meals and a grocery shop felt essential . The kitchen of the mansion house apartment needed to be better cleaned , it was sticky , the switch boards were greezy , not cleaned . The curtains and carpet I think needs to be properly washed or changed as the apartment on entrance was smelly and had to buy air freshener .
The location was excellent , picturesque, facilities , adequate free parking , photographic spots . The view from the apartment window was excellent .

United KingdomKitchen utensils were a bit limited (e.g. no bottle opener) and crockery on the small side but otherwise had everything needed. Reception service hours are only till 8pm, so good thing we arrived on our first day before then.
Spacious rooms and comfortable furnishings. The children loved the indoor and outdoor pool. Lovely setting.

United KingdomDog friendly, but no where to let the dog off the lead on site or nearby as there are sheep in many of the surrounding fields. The house was a bit old and tired looking and the plumbing was noisy. Heating had been left on - house was boiling hot and I didn't notice for a few days - thought it was just the weather. Dirty trays were left in the oven.
Peaceful location. Great views with easy access to mid Wales and Snowdonia. Nice woodland area on hillside and access to public footpath. On site restaurant and bar with tasty Indian food as well as some European fare.

The self accommodation was very spacious. We got the three bedrooms. So many bathrooms were a great touch. I loved the greenery all around the resort and the spa anamities. There was a little playground for the kids. I liked that we could park the car outside the room for easy access.

United KingdomThe rooms are lovely but so many little bits need doing , windows don’t open freely , paint needs re-doing , in the mansion house the kitchen is tired and the bed was so uncomfortable, The pool and sauna jacuzzi are looking so tired when what’s needed is so easy to fix , seems daft to me , This is our third visit and apart from the bits that need doing we’ve always enjoyed our time
Location perfect, staff lovely and helpful, this was our 3rd visit and we have always enjoyed our time here,
