My only negative view was that the property was in an area where you couldn’t go for a walk without having to drive there first. However, the hosts would offer to drive you to the nearest pub or restaurant and pick you up. The trouble was that I don’t like to trouble anyone.

The room was very spacious and clean. Very friendly hosts,nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent breakfasts.

Nothing could have been better

Breakfast was amazing, thanks Steve! Accommodation was clean and had everything you needed. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Fresh milk for tea and coffee each day. Toiletries available if required. Parking right outside. Table and chairs on the patio area where you can relax in the evening. Eirian was friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you. We would definitely recommend Maen Hir for a place to stay.

Eirian was the perfect host and Steve’s breakfast was outstanding. Perfect location for visiting the Island and Bangor. Lots of places to eat close by, pubs, restaurants and a lovely Indian. We will definitely stay here again.

A couple of minor points -Be prepared to wait a while to wait a while for hot water in the shoower! We were told about that before using the shower. There are a couple of pimk stains on the bathroom floor which are permanent - what a shame.

Steve's breakfast was exceptional. Room clean with fresh towels daily. Liked the fresh milk in bedroom every day for tea/coffee and bottled water. Both hosts are wonderful. Thank you for allowing us to swop bedrooms before arrival so that the shower was more accessable. Quiet location in the countryside. Being behind a car showroom did not bother us.Pub serving food and small supermarket a short car ride away.

The toilet in one of our rooms wasn't bolted onto the floor properly so it wobbled.

The hosts were lovely, very accommodating and great with the kids. The guesthouse was lovely and clean and the bed was really comfy. The location was great, only a 5 minute drive down to the village..

My only quibble was silly location of things so had to use a chair as bedside table on the side I was sleeping which was door side … although there was a table other side, no plugs. A few little things like that, which stopped me scoring 10 but otherwise brilliant, and felt really welcome, comfortable and at ease.

Friendly and helpful hosts, great facilities. Rooms were clean and had everything you could possibly need including toiletries if you'd forgotten your own. Tea/coffee making facilities with fresh milk provided daily in a cool bag with 2 bottles of ice cold drinking water, very welcome after a day's riding. The breakfast was fantastic, piping hot and VERY filling. If you didn't want the full monty you could pick and choose exactly what you fancied. We arrived by motorbike and we were allowed to park in the owners garage overnight, fab knowing the bike was safe and secure 👍great base for exploring Anglesey and North Wales.

Sadly there were a group of ignorant males staying the night but the hosts did all they could in relation to that and that could happen anywhere

Our bathroom door popped open because of window draft but the staff were on it about ordering door stops to solve that in future.

Breakfast was fantastic lovely welcome from the host and great value for the money . Lots of private parking, we were at Anglesey Circuit for a track day so big van to park and a secure car park is essential only 20 minutes from circuit.
