The double bed was uncomfortable.

The property is in a great location for Zip World (7 mins away in the car) and to explore the area. It was homely and had WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The free breakfast at the nearby cafe was a nice touch.

Could do with little bit more cleaning, floors were dusty, spiderwebs here and there.., but main thing that carpet on one of the staircase steps was bit loose, so it is big hazard to someone with little kids who could slip and fall down. other then that we really enjoyed our stay !!!

Very good location, you can reach all other nice places within 1 hours drive.

I loved the log burner, that's what makes a cottage special, especially the features around it - large slate natural stone and stone feature wall. 2 good size bedrooms, heating excellent, not luxury but cottages are not for that, they are for quietness and tranquility, what I loved the most is that in the night you can hear the waterfalls which is amazing. The host was very nice, you get a voucher to have a free breakfast at the Lakeside Coffee Shop for all family. Basically you get all the conditions as from home to home, but in a beautiful village with views of the mountains and many walks around the mountains.

The only slight complaint is the quality of the Wifi connection and lack of TV setup. Host provided an additional Wifi connection which helped and offered to get someone in to setup the TV (although I declined as not used much)

Lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable downstairs and upstairs. Shower was good and kitchen facilities were excellent.

On arrival in under 5 mins of accessing the property we had a knock on the door from the owner stating we had to move the car even though we was just about to start unpacking, she stated there would be issues with neighbour !, on unpacking the car both me and the wife witnessed the neighbour videoing us unpack via his phone held out at arms length towards us... VERY BAD !, after unpacking we went out for a short time and when we returned another car was parked where we originally was this blocked the area for the next 3-4 days. Kitchen- Full of flies, smell of rotting meat, we could not find where this smell was coming from, infestation of slugs in the kitchen over several nights (appears these slugs only came out at night as we spotted MANY for 3+ nights) On arrival we checked the cutlery and plates etc they were NOT clean, some had crusted on food from previous guests One day the toaster tripped out the fuse box on the plugs we called the owner who had to physically lift the fridge out of the way to gain access to the fuse box which is against health and safety regulations in regards to 'safety' as we could NOT gain access to turn the electric off if a hazard had occurred ! We originally had ONLY 2 pans Living room - One of the couch's had a foot missing ( never noticed this even in the pictures what we viewed on the website for this property ! Property states TV yet there was NO terrestrial (analogue channels), NO cable or firestick in short NO live TV so NO news etc, we were then told by the female owner they would obtain a firestick for us as this is what they use so we could watch LIVE tv, 1 day later we were then refused a firestick so again NO live TV and we was told YOU can buy films !, so we were lied to about the firestick, we were then told by this male they also did NOT have live TV or a firestick so it was lies after lies.

Location was excellent, rest was terrible !

We had a really lovely stay in this beautiful cottage. The views were incredible. The host was fantastic andade us feeling really welcome. The house was really comfortable and had everything we needed for a week's stay, including a washing machine and dryer (great with a potty training toddler!). Genuinely nothing we didn't love and we hope very much to return.

The only complaint is the bed in the main bedroom it was so cheap and uncomfortable. The slats werent screwed in so 2 nights it fell through in the middle of the night and we had to wake up and fix it. Just buy a new bed

The cottage was lovely really cosy, plenty of utendils for cooking.

Before the stay, I had a query for the hosts. I had difficulty getting a response after I had contacted multiple times through multiple avenues. While the cottage was aesthetically pleasing, some attention to detail was lacking. There were some issues with cleanliness and maintenance that we felt should have been dealt with before we arrived. Bathroom sink was slow draining, upstairs light was out, the coffee available was not fresh, and was clumping together. There was a sock found from previous guests down the side of the bed, and the crockery and kitchen equipment wasn't cleaned well.

Cottage was very cute aesthetically. It was a good base in a good location, with lovely views. The cottage was very inviting and cosy after we had our days out.

Great location, beautiful views. Everything needed for a family stay no matter the weather. Great extras such as washing machine and dishwasher. We were even left a bottle of wine and a voucher for a free breakfast as a welcome gift.
