No towel rail in bathroom. Mattress could do with an update . Only 1 teaspoon in room and no hairdryer.

Dinner stops at 20:30 but this is not stated on the hotel web site, only restaurant closes at 21:45. Here it’s recommended to say last orders, so late arrivals don’t go hungry.

On the whole ok 3 tiny soap bottles for a double room for a 2 night share No shelves in shower to put the above scarce bottles on No room service to replace soap tea bags etc Staff always seemed like looking after you was above and beyond their job description

The room was hot and when u open the window the extractor fans from kitchen caused a smell and didn't look the best.. a bit confusion in the restaurant when I went to toilet and came back to 2 ladies about to be given my table but got it sorted.. also poppadoms came out a long time after I started my meal.

The summer day was unexpectedly quite hot and the room had no air conditioning. The reception also did not provide a fan. It was an unusual day, normally Scotland's weather is cold.

Was very hot evening heat in the room unbearable. No aircon but small fan would have been welcome. When we opened the window it was very noisy and lot of flies come into the room..

We went couldn’t get back into the hotel in the morning, you have to call a number & no one picked up. Lucky we had our stuff in the car already.

It would have been good to have some bottles of water for the kettle. A few hooks in the shower room would be a good idea to hang either towels or clothes whilst showering.

Shower was amazing. Good quality towels. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay again without a doubt and wish we had more time to dine in. Carpark was impressive with an abundance of spaces. The TV selection was brilliant.

We had no hot water on 2 days, and the room wasn't cleaned for the 5 nights we stayed. We asked for it to be cleaned but they just remade the bed without changing it, and changed the towels.

Not the friendliest of welcomes but lady next day very friendly . Room over kitchen so unable to open window due to cooking smells . Bathroom walls needed a better clean .

Some small repairs needed for example widows wouldn’t close properly in room 4 and sink felt a bit loose but nothing major.

Great location near motorway links, rooms were basic but comfortable. The restaurant downstairs was excellent.

There was another woman who definitely must not be in the accommodation sector. The way that she treats us while checking in and giving keys was awfully rude.

There are some staff that are really kind and helpful. I especially appreciate the kindness of the Scottish lady.

I had one small problem the bed was really hard, my brother’s room had a mattress topper which really helped but mines didn’t , it would be nice if they had some sort of breakfast,they was a van next door selling breakfast rolls so that was handy

On this occasion it felt like maintenance of the rooms has slipped, the toilet was coming away from the wall, the tiles around the the sink at floor level were cracked, only one cup was in room for tea/coffee facilities, the spare pillows had been stored on what must have been a dusty shelf as there were marks on them. We will return and hope that maintenance has improved.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times now. It is the quality of the restaurant and location for us that keeps us coming back. The rooms are modern.

My room was next to a heating cupboard ( I think ) in the hall that made a clattering noise several times an hr. Would have liked breakfast too if they’d done it

Was probably comparable to a Premier Inn or Travel Lodge. Not excellent but still generally good. Outlook from room not great but adequate given time spent in it. Basic toiletries. Would have liked choice of caf & decaf coffee. Heating operation was a wee bit confusing with no instructions in room for anything. Trying to be constructive with these comments and would use hotel again😀
